By the 28th February 2014 the following accounts should be filed

Sky Blue Sports & Leisure to 31/05/13 - these group accounts will give some details of the football club activities to 31/05/13 (the only trading part of the group is CCFC). These accounts will detail exactly how much SISU investors and ARVO had "invested" by 31/05/13 and could indicate the investment since that date. As always it is the Group situation that reveals most

Otium Entertainment Group to 31/05/13 - by that date Otium had not taken over the Golden share but these 2013 accounts might well indicate any change in the finance structure.

CCFC H. In theory accounts should be filed but as the company is in the process of liquidation then no accounts will be

CCFC Ltd again much like CCFC H accounts due but extremely unlikely to be filed due to the liquidation process

Arena Coventry Limited and Arena Coventry (2006) Ltd. These accounts will indicate the level of trading to 31/05/13 and the profitability. They will include the income from the Olympic events and the liabilities brought about by the legal actions with SISU (hopefully the Olympic effect and the legal etc will be shown separately so that a better assessment of the underlying trade can be made). Arena Coventry (2006) Ltd holds the lease to the Ricoh

IEC Experience Ltd. Subsidiary of ACL. Is listed as having 31st May year end. it was formed 20/04/12 and should have filed its first accounts.

As with SBS&L group it will be the ACL group accounts that reveal the overall situation

Out of interest, what do IEC do?

Surely Otium's accounts will show next to nothing, also? I'd assume that would remain as opaque as possible for as long as possible? No need for them to show anything in the accounts due?

Likewise, is it possible/fair to make a judgement on ACL based on a one-off event and, for that matter, fair to make a judgement on them when the next accounts are filed? Surely if they do go it alone without a club the time (sad though it is to say!) to see if they can or not stretches into the accounts due to be filed in 2016?

I think the general scope of the Compass/ACL deal is discussed in this article, though it is now 4 years old.

Compass signs £125m deal at Coventry City FC’s Ricoh Arena

by Chris Druce, Tuesday 31st March 2009 07:00

Compass Group has signed a £125m deal extension at Coventry City FC’s Ricoh Arena to provide catering and facilities management services at the stadium.

The groundbreaking 10-year deal will see Compass cater for international sports, leisure, exhibition, conference and banqueting events at the complex, as well as handling sales and marketing and running the on-site hotel.

In a first for Compass, the caterer will run the 71-key Rooms & Silk Suites hotel at the arena outright, providing housekeeping, security, guest services and portering.

As I understand it that is the same area as SISU have proposed AEG to manage.

If IEC were formed 2012 however... what's gone on there if linked to that?

I am not sure, just found this http://www.ricoharena.com/news/jacky-isaac-appointed-ceo/

It says.. IEC Experience Limited is the joint venture company between ACL and Compass Group UK.

I'm sure OSB knows the details.. I'm just googling stuff..

Heh, I just flicked onto the news bit on that page, and thought Charles Manson was attending a fundraising event!

IEC is the company that is owned 77% by ACl and 23% by Compass. It is the joint venture company that actually operates the events on the site. ACL is the holding company. The group structure is being or has been changed so that ACL oversees (and receives rents) rather than operates the site

Otium's accounts will show some information particularly now all funding is channelled through it. It will have to disclose detail of significant events that have happened since 31/05/13 that will help a reader of the accounts better understand eg a significant change in loan structure or the issue of shares. But as I said the better detail will be in the SBS&L Group accounts

There will be some indication of how they are doing or projected to do by the contents of the Auditors Report and any note about going concern. The directors and auditors must consider a period of at least 12 months from the date the accounts are signed. That would seem to be to at least Feb 2015. In making that assessment of course they will have accessed not only the projections but also the management reports of activity since 31/05/2013 until now. For example if the auditors put a paragraph in the report on going concern then that highlights a potential problem regarding going concern, if however there is no such paragraph that implies that in their opinion no such concern. The 2012 accounts showed a paragraph for both groups.

It isn't going to be an exact science for either Group but there will be pointers towards what is going on that an outsider can pick up on for both

Won't these accounts show the relegation season 11/12? Or we're those in with the administration accounts we won't get to see?

They have to be filled else its another mis managed situation. Being in a yearly transfer embargo is proof and people still like Otium/sisu. Yes they work fregin wonders don't they.

Yearly transfer embargo
Take Coventry out of Coventry
Attendances circa 1500
Lack of investment and knowledge

Are they serious?

Any danger of an actual answer?

This is what I alluded to the other day about how its almost impossible to have a conversation on here without the same boring posts going to straight to SISU bashing. I don't like SISU but need to mention it in every single post.

EDIT: Thanks Jas (if that's true and not just 'another' SISU bash).

By "we" do you mean CCFC?

2010 it seems: http://www.coventrycity-mad.co.uk/news/tmnw/the_coventry_city_timeline_824282/index.shtml

This is obviously a Joy strategy.

Well CCFC Ltd are the only ones that would get us an embargo (and Otium now). As stated there's Ltd, Holdings, SBSL, Otium, ARVO, Sisu Capital, etc.

Anyway Mr Ican'tgoogle I've found the answer for you. A thank you would be nice

Edit: And the Bilderberg Group isn't a company so they don't have accounts.

It was 26th February 2010 when they filed the accounts for SBS&L, CCFC H & CCFC ltd for the year ended 31/05/09

There are a series of timelines on the Trust website that might help people with the dates and verifiable information

To be fair, the last set of accounts didn't give a warning that we should be concerned about going to Northampton

With the lease broken and gone, there has to be some hope that at least the accounts will be signed off on time.

Perhaps you're right about the amount of similar thread topics on here but when you ask a question about late filed accounts and the fact that Sisu's continual late if not ever filing of accounts and how that has had a detrimental effect on the team and the constant embargo's we have been under as a result of their ineptness, do you actually think that people won't bring Sisu as they are directly responsible? And if you don't like the fact that Sisu are brought up in almost every topic, why do you come on here? What do you expect? I cannot help that every time I hear Craig Bellamy's name i say the word C--t. It is the way some people are. I could say that how boring it is that people want to sit on the fence and continually give balanced views just for the sake of it, but I don't (apart from now). Everyone has opinions and you know what people say about everyone having one>

So it looks as though these are the past filing dates since SISU arrived:

2008 accounts - 30/03/09 (late)
2009 accounts - 26/02/10 (2 days to spare)
2010 accounts - 28/04/11 (late)
2011 accounts - 20/06/12 (late)
2012 accounts - never filed

The 2008 accounts were not late. Companies house reduced the filing time from 10 months to 9 months. The 2009 accounts were the first set to have to comply with the 9 month rule
