Daniel Sturridge has to be up there near the top, Chelsea don't offer you a contract if you're not to a decent level!

The 3 that I thought of were Danny Sturridge, Chris Kirkland and Calum Davenport. Yes Kirkland has had his and a few others fair shares of injuries and Calum has had a torrid last couple of years, but they were both quality youngsters.
Andy Whing was another that was good for us, but has faded a bit since leaving. Sheffers aswell, forgot about him originally.

More importantly, who do people think are the best academy prospects coming in NOW that might get some games next year? Burges? Bigirimana? etc...

this is for Thorn to answer!

Id say Sturridge, who is proving himself in the premiership now. Davenport didnt really prove himself in the prem, although i did rate him highly.

Dennis Mortimer - his battle with Spurs' Steve Perryman in the Fa Youth Cup Final was brilliant.

Forgot about Willie Carr and Gary Gillespie too.

Well Conor Thomas is the obvious one, we all have high hopes for him. Aswell as Jordan Clarke and Nathan Cameron, Josh Ruffles and Gael Bigirimana have been getting rave reviews. I think we'll see them make a couple of appearances next season. There is also our youngest ever player, Jonson Clarke-Harris.

Gael Bigirimana is a top, top player. I was lucky enough to be in his year at school and have seen him play numerous school and academy games, he plays the Michael Essien type role and is a gem at set pieces. He has also been told by AT that he will get his fair share of chances next season. i expect great things off him
