At least keys is doing the best he can with his connections. We don't have an alternative so only those happy with sisu and non league football fell free to leave your negative comments

Keys may be a Coventry fan but he is also in love with himself and so we have every right to be weary of him. He speaks as a voice of authority yet we see nothing of substance and to be honest it is beginning to wear a bit thin. I am all for change but I personally feel any bid enquiry needs to be done properly and in confidence as one would expect. I am sure any investor will get a lot further with SISSU conducting business in private than trying to conduct any bid through the media. I would prefer he stay quiet and let Hoffman (or whoever) go about their business the right way. Keys is all showmanship. Just my view - you are of course entitled to disagree. Cheers

Do we automatically have to love everyone who supports the club? It's just that Jon Gaunt's a dick and that guy killed all those folks so I'd hate to have to rethink my stance based on something arbitrary we have in common.

Its not their character they have to like. Hell I think most of the people who post on here are probably knobs too and undoubtedly many of them will think that of me. The point is we share a common cause and when we say "he's a City fan" we're not saying love him and love all his work but merely that he wants this to succeed as much as the rest of us. He is probably excited and saying no more than everyone who comes on here with half truths and rumours, they just don't get slated as much because they are not famous.

As far as I'm aware TIMS hasn't been claiming that irons are in the fire, leading people on with cryptic hints followed by 'sorry, can't say any more!' or promised public exposure that failed to materialise, so asking him what he's doing to help when he doesn't seem to be trumpeting himself just appears to be an attempt to undermine his valid opinion.

Likewise the way he's greeted with an allegation of not being a Cov fan at all in that same thread on the basis that he's not subscribing to the exact same beliefs as others. It's stupid and unecessary.

It's fine and healthy to disagree with someone but there are ways to go about it.

Keys might be on the level, he might be on a self-serving ego trip to paint himself as true sky blue. People are happy that he's publicising our woes, which is just as valid as people maintaining a healthy scepticism until there's something factual to go on.

Getting behind Keys is fine if some want to do that but at the same time people can be just as sceptical of his motives.
This does not mean they do not want sisu out any less than those who want to back keys, they may even dislike sisu more and just want anything that could hamper a takeover not being done.

We all know what happened last time someone spoke about what was happening within takeover negotians and some business people may not want any kind of publicity no matter how small and insignificant to the takeover plans this may appear to us, to them it could be a big thing.
We may be full of hatred or whatever towards sisu and any publicity to some maybe a good thing, but to them they are just a group of business people and when they see their name being dragged about in the media by keys what's not to make them think hang on do we really need this? we could have this in a years time if we do not spend millions on saving this club straight away.

I do enjoy that as Keys is a Cov fan he shouldn't be criticised, as told by people continuing to criticise Cov fans for disagreeing. A delicious hypocrisy.

I may have misjudged GMK if they don't automatically accuse anyone they disagree with as being a Leicester fan/SISU cheerleader/Onye Igwe.

But how can you say EleanorRigby that people who want Keys to fail are not city fans.
I would hope they are more than 5% better than what we have at the moment to be honest or that 5% could soon disappear and they could soon end up just as bad as sisu in a few years time if there plan fails after a short time.
Just as sisu's initial plan failed, Hoff is only the guy who is introducing these people as far as I am aware and is not investing his money, although I could be wrong on that.
