Obviously a business plan is not in place to accommodate drawing Arsenal in the FA cup. Surely the estimated 800k the club are likely to make from this venture could be the money to bring us back to the Ricoh.

At least it would bring us home and maybe talks could be then put in place for merchandise/ food and drink profits.

i had 2 thoughts earlier about this money

1) It would enable us to hold onto our players in this transfer window or,
2) SISU would use it to funding the "ongoing costs"

at no point do I think they will be considering using it to come back to the Ricoh

Yes, the best about this finance we can hope for is retaining Leon Clarke's services.

800000 is the equivalent of 23 games x £10 x 3500 people

in other words - this closes the gap in income between actual gates at sixfields 2000 versus a high end estimate of 5500

Sisu will have achieved their budgeted income for the year

If they draw and get Arsenal back for a replay.
What is the capacity of Sixfields?
What is the capacity of the Ricoh?

What a joke. What has sisu done with all the money made in the past? It would never be used to keep Leon or return to the Ricoh

Fund operating costs/losses?

Yep, there are massive interest charges and management fees to pay to SISU related companies. If we are to believe the last figure of £60m that the club owes them, then they've been losing, I mean investing, £10m a year.

It won't happen, but if it did there are 3 possibilities - replay at Arsenal £££, ricoh- ££ or shitfields £, but I'm sure Timmy will not forgo his Food and beverages and sick out at Shitfields and hope that those that go contiue to eat and drink to the tune of £4000 per person per game.

Assuming of course that you know the prices, the mix of adults, kids and OAP's, the match day costs, and have remembered to give 20% to the VAT man.

Exactly. Average ticket take per person was £9.50 at the Ricoh, or just under half what an adult ticket cost. Now obviously you've got more frees and STs for league games, but even at £20 x 60000 x 45% we're only bringing in £540k

To a club like coventry it's huge!!!

It's hard for the man in the street to come to terms with the fact that a million quid is a mere drop in the ocean when the likes of SISU are involved.

Looks like they are prepared to speculate to accumulate without getting panicked - fascinating to watch it slowly unfold!

We will receive about the equivillant of a 25000 home gate less expenses and tax etc, something we could be achieving now. Perhaps if brought to Joy's attention that we could get near to that most home games it might make her think a bit, I am not sure if true football facts have been made known to her in the past

I would think in the situation we are in 800K is a huge amount. But I don't believe this will be the amount we will get.
