Yes, that’s right – as a special treat we are delighted to bring you a Nii Lamptey Show exclusive podcast, as young superstar Tom Bayliss joins the boys in the “studio” to reminisce about all the lovely times we had together.

Sit back and enjoy as Tom lifts the lid on:

– What makes the Sky Blues Academy so great

– His rise into the first team

– Those play-offs and Wembley

– THAT photo Kevin Nolan

– Playing with Michael Doyle

– The best player he’s ever played with at Cov

– His new life at Preston and his goals for this season and beyond

It was a real privilege being able to join Tom for an hour to chat about the good times, and we’d like to thank him for taking the time to indulge us and give such a brilliant insight into his time at the club. We wish him every success for the future – we know he’ll make it to the very top!

Great interview this, well done. And Bayliss comes across very good and honest, especially like how he mentions the academy and coaching set ups being as good as they are. Very encouraging.

What a decent lad. These insights are so much better as a fan than the media interviews with stock answers.

I feel like he was close to saying a couple of names when they asked him “any dickheads?” then they gave him an out and he retreated a bit. Would’ve been interesting.

It seemed like the promotion squad was such a close-nit group. Not sure if we’ve got that quite yet at the moment but still early in the season I guess.

This is a fantastic pod cast. How have I only just discovered this - how regular are they?

Can these lads not get on the media interviews? I'd pay a subscription to listen to them ask the questions fans actually want to hear.

Knowl is essential, he represents the average miserable Cov fan.

Pretty much one a week. They are pretty good to be fair. First player interview I've heard them do so don't expect that every week.

I did enjoy the Nolan anecdote.
It was great to hear how much it meant to the players and how up for it they were against Notts Co

Listened to it on the way down to the match today, was a really interesting insight. Listen to the podcasts regularly, they're always a good listen, but @NiiLampteyShow is there anything you can do to normalise t sound levels? It's a nightmare in the car having to keep changing the volume up and down to hear / not be deafened!
