I have been following Coventry for just over 25 years and inthat time I have never experienced what it feels like to be challenging foranything in the league. Realistically we were never going to win the old Firstdivision / Premier league (this relates to my time as a supporter), but when wegot relegated I thought we would be more competitive than we have been. To bein the Championship for 11 seasons and not even make the play-offs or evenchallenge getting into the top 6 is really depressing. Maybe this will change next season in league 1,and the disappointment of actually being in that league will made better byactually doing something in the league. Guess time will tell. PUSB
Sorry Otis. I admit to changing the post, and yes your reply was funny.Your edit has now totally fooked up my half-hearted attempt at humour.
Can't you edit it back to what it was?
We must have one of the worst win percentages in the country over the past 10 years or so
Feel sorry for you guys who have followed us since the 70's and before, seen some cracking players (ive heard all about Hutchison, Carr, Curtis etc) and seen the club win the FA Cup, ( i was 5 and cant remember it) Must be heartbreaking (hope thats not too strong a word!) to see where we now are.
When we got relegated from the Premier League i was like, 'oh well perhaps we can rebuild, win more games than we lose, get a winning mentality and be up before long'
But no, 11 years is it in the Championship ? without much to shout about and we are talking about rebuilding again, but this time in the Third Division.
Said to the mrs last night, I aint fussed on getting to the Premier League, or Division one for that matter, just happy to be not so shit and win more games than we lose for a change, that really would do me for a few years. We must have one of the worst win percentages in the country over the past 10 years or so
