I've just been contacted by the CEO of the off-field arm of Chemnitzer FC, a German club also called the Sky Blues ('Himmelblauen' in German: http://www.chemnitzerfc.de/cfc/home.html). He said that he was already considering trying to organise a 'sky blue' tournament and as such is quite interested in any such tournament happening over here and is able to put it to the club's board members. Since it makes more sense from an organisation point of view to hold something like this next summer, the main things he needs in order to put it forward are:

1. What the format of the tournament would be (number of teams, number of games, match times etc).

2. Travel, accommodation and other costs-this club plays in the German equivalent of L1 so is on a similar, likely smaller, budget to ourselves cost wise.

This time next year who knows what the stadium situation could be however assuming it still to be available for sport then the Ricoh makes the most sense since it also has hotel rooms. The guy knows quite a bit about us as a club and is certainly keen at least about the concept-it's the practicalities that need help putting together. Are there any people on here (affiliated to the Trust, supporters' team and so on but any help welcome), who could offer a bit of help on this? Also-PWKH, how much would you charge for use of the pitch for any friendly games played on it?
