It is incredible and that’s why all good things need to come to an end. Personally, I am jaded no we’ve been celebrating promotion for nearly a month now. I feel this way towards the end of every season when I’ve put in the miles.

It’s a proud year to be a fan of this club, a slightly bittersweet thought: has there been a better season than this?! Not in my lifetime but it’s specifically aimed at our older cohort of fans.

No never as good as this season even when we got promoted in 1967 , Fa cup was brilliant though.

It does become way more emotional that you anticipate. Roll back 7 years and we sign the likes of Wilson and Allen and latterly Bidwell, now they all will leave as deserved heroes of the club and in the case of the first 2 as double promotion winners. It probably wont ever get better than this so for one final weekend we need to take it all in and enjoy the moment.

Fewest goals conceded for our supposedly shite defence is definitely something that's gone a bit under the radar.
