I was just wondering if there's a age limit for children to be allowed unccompanied into the ground.

Me and my mates always used to go highfield rd on our own when we were kids. But it was a different world back in the early 90's

Unless you mean that you have his ticket. Then you would have to wait outside for him.

I shall recount the tale of my first CCFC match, pretty boring TBH, but these are the essential facts.....

It was about 1969, I was 12 or 13 & lived in Whitley, a slighly older lad down the road organised a trip to Highfield Road (he was 16 or 17 I think). Attending were about 5 or 6 others, all lads who lived in the same or the next street. I can't accurately remember who went, I wish I had a good memory.

We all got on the bus, went in the Kop & paid at the gate, it wasn't a memorable match (no idea what the fxture was).

Would you see that sort of thing today? I doubt it.

During my teens I never went up the City with my Dad or any other adult. If I went it was with my mates.

I used to go with my mates but we were 'ard and went in the West End, we were always told that the Spion Kop was for pussies! LOL
