I think you and Mark will be supporting your Phoenix Club - though of course only Mark will be attending.

CCFC is not dead. It is fully functioning and has 130 years of history. There are very few people who have given up on the club. You can give up - perhaps you are a quitter by nature - that is your prerogative. It would be a pub team supported by a handful - far less than those who go to Sixfields.

CCFC has huge heritage which is worth fighting for. I am bored with Mark's constant threads about new clubs -- no one is interested, go away.

Grenduffy, you truly do excel at showing your stupidity and lack of knowledge. You pretend to know things and make nasty snide remarks based on that supposed knowledge. You have constantly derided those of us that live abroad as not really being fans as we are not in our seats at 3pm every Saturday (Sunday's now of course).

But you - you nasty little piece of work you - really do know nothing. I am close to retirement, and I am going to be back in the UK in just a few weeks time looking at a house because I will be spending a significant part of my retirement back in the UK. And guess what Grenduffy; I will be going to watch football. So I might actually get to meet Mr Superfan Grenduffy face to face and be able to put a face to the idiot that tries to disrupt threads and is such a nasty and stupid person.
So, Mr Superfan, any response that is not just more evidence of your nastiness and stupidity?

I am not sure what that has to do with the post you quoted though?

you are not a ccfc supporter, leave the forum and start your own one for a phoenix club.

So, should the majority vote for a Phoenix club, then I assume that in fact YOU will leave this board?

Please re-read Grendel's post where he makes the snide comment that only Marc will be going to matches because Grendel thinks that I will never be going to any matches as I live abroad. He has made references to this many times and he needed to be disabused of the thought that he has superior knowledge and informed he knows a lot less that he thinks he knows. He generally has nothing to actually say, and merely attacks and derides the comments of other people.

Thanks for correcting me. I must have been wrong about what I thought. You obviously know my mind better than I do. Idiot.

It has everything to do with it. The guy constantly has a pop at him. It seems kind of personal to be honest.

And no I am not excited about it. It makes me angry as hell that my club is being torn away from me. Maybe you think SISU are doing a great job but I genuinely don't see a way back from this. They have turned the club into a laughing stock. The club no longer represents the community of Coventry and hasn't done so for a while. The owners have shown a complete disregard for people like you and I, the fans. Even the football league are now admitting that we may never return to Coventry. My opinion is that we should have a backup plan of a new club which is ready to put into action at any point. My preference would be CCFC return to Coventry with or without SISU. I have absolutely no yearning to be a founding member but I do want to make sure we are not left in the lurch with no football club.

ccfc isnt something you just discard.

There was a poll on here the other day that had over 70% in favour. I know it is a small sample size but there are a lot of people in favour of this.

I voted no by the way as it shouldn't be the preferred option.

It won't be a year or two. With the issues we will have with planning permission this could drag on for many years. I see at least 10 years away. Who will give them planning permission for a new stadium?
