From a bradford fan

We're absolutely thread-bare, and Aaron McLean is gonna miss the start of the season.

It sounds like Parkinson has blown his playing budget already. He's brought in 6-7 players and we currently have a squad of 17 - 3 of those youngsters.

There's speculation of a rift and difference of opinion between the board and PP. All summer, PP has seemingly relied on these potential prem loanees - but I think all his initial targets have snubbed him and gone elsewhere. I suppose that's what you get for openly admitting you're a hoofball team - irrespective of whether we've changed our approach for this coming season.

It absolutely stinks at BCFC at the minute, and he we're relying on these currently crop of trialists to bolster the squad, we're fookin' doomed. I don't even think our starting XI is strong enough.

Yes, I'm panicking.

I can't see losing McLean as anything other than a huge positive, he's a busted flush who stopped scoring years ago and we spunked a load of the Wells money on wages for his big, idle, lardy arse.

We are short of numbers and bloated with lower league journeymen and we have zero pace in the team, either the youngsters will have to step up or, unlikely, some quality late arrivals will turn up. Budget money seems to have run out and we have no wingers/widemen, one goalie on loan who can't play in cups, (cup game in less than 2 weeks) crazy!

Poor, we have a top 6 defence (Sunderland loan keeper) with good cover. Then we have James Hanson. There is FA connecting the good 2 parts.

All the pace was Kyel Reid and Nahki Wells, we've lost them both, stupidly allowing Reid to sign for Preston. IMO we are going to struggle, how badly might depend on how many other teams are shite. We have had a big turnover and there is not one arrival who you could say is better than the player he's replaced.

Did Reid command a fee or did his contract expire? Impressed me in that 3-3 draw last season.
