If a shirt was created which had the same design as the new shirt, but with a SISU out logo on the front and the coventry crest on the right, would supporters buy it? Should be able to get them manufactured and sold for under £10. This way fans can support the team by wearing the colours but also still backing the Not One Penny More campaign

Surely Sisu would ban them in the stadium? The orange brigade would escort the 20 or 30 fans that do end up going to Northampton?

If it's got the same design you will have to be careful with copyright.

Also, having a Sisu out logo could also mean you get in possible legal trouble with them.

I only say this as I work for a company that produces sports kits and leisure wear etc so I've had the same thoughts myself and ultimately thought it's not worth getting sued over.

The other problem you would have is how many to make. 100 makes little impact but would set you back a grand. Then what if no one wanted them?

Got to consider copyright laws and such too.

Whoever copyrighted "SISU out" must be raking it in!

They wouldn't be able to copyright the design of the shirt. Even if there was I'm sure 5 points of difference could be incorporated into it, such as having the taller stripes starting on the right, maybe dark blue shirt and light blue stripes etc. the badge I don't think is copyrighted as that is the reason Hoover tried to create the new one in 2005.
In terms of having SISU Out I don't think it is an ejectable offence. Could have NOPM instead?
With regards to the cost, I'm sure there would be a manufacturer in the city, or shirt printing company that would maybe accept payment for 50 upfront and then going forward do it to order, within reason. I.e once 20 orders are taken reprint.

You could just have stripes without the solid bit at the top. They cant copyright stripes! Wasn't the reason they wanted to change the badge a few years ago because they couldn't copyright the one we use?

What about a different design that is widely & easily available that'll stand out...& print 1883 on it.
Then at every match on stadium access rods for opposition fans - distribute say 200 flyers briefly explaining.
It's subtle (except the shirt colour from afar perhaps), cheap, spreads the word much better than relying on usual media channels, can be put on football forums as well...& they cannot take the shirt off your back.
Alternatively, black armband with 1883 printed on in white or Skyblue to wear on the way to & from matches...they can't take those either!
