Given the hiatus and given that ACL have reshuffled with fresh faces on their board removing West and Reeves ,would a new CCFC chairman be a realistic route to enable fresh negotiation .

I don't see Fisher clearing off but get him In the background ,could It help

Would anyone be willing to pick up the mantle ,has Ian Neale served a decent apprenticeship at Nuneaton ,?
Who would be your choice?

Roles to be fill says Fisher

Coventry City are close to naming a new Chairman and new CEO.

Interim MD Tim Fisher has been interviewing candidates and told the Coventry Observer's Steve Carpenter: "I have cut a long list of candidates down to ten and I have been conducting interviews for the role. I have a few more to speak with before I produce a shortlist. “

Speaking about the role of Chairman, which has been empty since Ken Dulieu quit to take over an ill fated paid role as “Director Of Football” and seen names such as Life President John Sillett and Associate Director David Shortland amongst the possible candidates, Mr Fisher said: "As for the new chairman, I have a small number of people in mind who I believe have the right profile for the role.

"It will be a person with local knowledge. They may not necessarily live in the area but they will have an in-depth knowledge of the club and will have had long connections with it too.
"We haven't formally removed the director of football role. At the moment we have Steve Waggot helping Andy Thorn identify key players and Steve is filtering out those who are available for the right price."

Probably hear in three weeks.

Doh only Skim read It .

About two years old then .

Relevant much!!

Sorry, I'm in one of those moods.

A serious answer: It's quite hard to pull Fisher and Seppala apart, especially as they both became hands on at the same time. I'd wager that they are two cheeks of the same arse.

That said, I think Fisher has burned bridges galore and must know this considering the role Labovitch has taken (and managed to burn even more bridges, maybe Fisher's issue was that he didn't burn enough). A new face would be good, but I'm not sure I believe in the selection process to produce anyone different.

I agree, if we got rid of Fisher and that prat Labovich things might change, be a good way out for our vacant owner to some how safe face, blame it on the two clowns.

When Sepalla became a bit more public and did the interview in the CET I though she might get shot of Fisher and put all the blame onto him. Easy way to move things forward really, just say the way he was behaving was not in line with SISU and she wants to talk with CCC and / or ACL. Think the time for that has passed now.

How about Ken Dodd. He would fit in nicely with what is left of the board. Although he does appear to be far too clever for Fish and Lav.

This is the single biggest barrier to progress - a new face to start things afresh. What about Uncle Joe?
