I had completely forgotten we were playing last night. Here's me, a passionate supporter too ! Multiply this by 10,000 and here's the reason SISU !
Got totally absorbed in watching flowing football from Chelsea on the box, it was only this morning I remembered and looked for the result !

I made the sad trek upstairs to lister to CWR. Received my usual bollocking for being antisocial!

On a serious note I have lost interest in going , went to some away games last season. Got 2 x tickets for the RICOH return and gave them to someone who did not manage to get them.

I do not think I will go again until I see an improvement on and off the field.

I defintely completely missed games last season, when we were at Sixfields.

That was quite surreal though, cos it felt in some ways like we no longer had a football team. I only ever checked the results the following day, but did completely forget about matches we had on a number of occasions.

Easily done though, when you're playing sat-tues-sat week in week out, especially midweek away games when you've been at work all day, have your tea, bath and put the kids to bed and before you know it it's 8.30-9pm and you haven't stopped.

You did do some Sixfields games though didn't you, Torch. Think that makes a big difference. You must have still felt part of it all and obviously if you were going occasionally, you would pay more intention to the fixtures.

I always check the fixtures to see who we have next at home and therefore see the away fixtures too. When you are not going at all after decades of always going though, it can feel like your club doesn't exist at times. It did for me.

Never, ever checked the fixtures last season because I never attended any games and therefore had no idea we were playing on a few occasions (usually Sundays when I would forget)

You not the only one who forgot.. I did too.

I hate to say it but I am slowly losing interest in the Sky Blues.

Just two day's ago the husband of my niece who is from Holland said he is coming to visit Coventry and if we should go to see City match at the Ricoh on Saturday as I promised him earlier in the season I would take him if we ever got back... BUT now I don't know what to do because I am too embarrassed to take him in case we lose heavily again and the humiliation I would suffer considering he is a big piss taking Ajax supporter. There will be nowhere for me to hide.

Oh the dilemma

I wouldn't no, but I'd like to see them doing their job as stewards of a football club. I know you find the concept challenging but give it a go....

Its not so much about forgetting for me, its just got to the point of not being arsed by the result. Its the norm losing by 3 or 4 now. Guy at work asked me if i was back going week in week out now we're back 'home' my answer was i tried to but in all honesty i just cant be bothered anymore.

If they were Bayern München, but I think we now know that we won't have won anyway without even looking. I have the cutting of" brave Coventry crashing out of Europe" on the wall in my pub - refers to the time we actually beat Bayern at Highfield Road ( ok Bayern weren't too bothered as they had already hammered us in München ). I was at that game and was 15 then. I never dreamt that we would ever be on a losing streak in the third division.

We are a million miles away from those days and I cannot imagine us ever even having the chance to get hammered by München again.

Totaly f--ked. I watched München hammering Rome last night and didn't check the city result til later. No excitement to see if we won as I had already guessed we hadn't.

Always look at the results and the fixtures . Been 1 game this season. MK Dons . 1st time since the Sixfields episodes. Thought it was a turgid horrid affair and wondered then why I had bothered. Seems things have gotten worse on the pitch since then and at the minute am quite happy going out and getting lashed on a Saturday afternoon.
My opinion is I pay to be entertained .I don't mind losing but only if the team had a bit of fight in them and gave me a bit of excitment, where I could walk away and say we were unlucky there.
At the minute I just can't be arsed and there are a lot more like me .
People can't give a season ticket away at the minute if they can't go.

It's easy to forget the midweek games. Somehow you hear its on Wednesday but it's Tuesday. I don't know about you but the weekdays all merge into one for me. I wake up on Friday.
