Because he is a good player who scores a lot of goals for them simple. people of his class are hard to find,and even harder to replace.just a point and some people muight might be interested in the transfer its self

agree losing Sharp makes them weaker, the £1.85m (ish) gives them opportunity to strengthen, though proven goalscorers are hard to come by

they can have proven goal scorers from us if they want

Eastwood banged them in for Southend

O'Donovan for some team

and Cody for some other team
