A little poem to lighten the mood... (1 Viewer)

it was late in december six years ago,
we were saved from exctinction by ranson and co,
how all seemed glorious in the opportunity to progress,
a chance for us all to get out of this mess.

a chance to build and move forward with a dream,
we began to develop with talent in our team,
youngsters came and off they progressed,
a stepping stone we became with no route to success.

the beginning of the end if only we'd have knew,
how sisu and co were erasing sky blue
bit by bit we corrded away,
sliding down the table with abysmal displays.

then came the inevitable and down we dropped
we thought we'd rebuild and rise to the top.
robins came in and was a breath of fresh air
but money talks and we had none to spare.

so here we stand, so close but so far,
is it the end? is it the start?
a bitter dispute thats destroyed our love
like a cancer theyve been, bleeding the club.

one things for sure, were the ones who get hurt
we pay good money to be treated like dirt,
if its money you want then pack up and leave
we dont need you here. we'll always beleive

either sort this out or leave us alone,
we dont need your money we dont need your home
wherever we play, wherever it be
were coventry city, we always will be.

There once was a club without any ground,
With tumbleweed blowing and hardly a sound,
We wait for the outcome and points to be hit,
While Mr. Tim Fisher spouts his spin and his shit.

Forgotten amongst this are the truest of fans,
But nobody cares for those in the stands,
We're lost in the ether and sentenced to hell,
And stuck with the contract of one David Bell.

He's the head of SISU; a one Mr Fisher
A chancer?, A Leader? Or just maybe a wisher?
His CV suggest's he's an experienced banker
In my mind I'm afraid he's just a complete:jerkit:
