The league table suggests so......

But even if I wanted to be pedantic £8k / 3 = £2,666.67 per week which is around 75% higher than The league one average wage, so me saying (if baker is on £8k pw, probably bollocks) that you could get 3 good league one players no mention of average...

Evidence possibly that we don't have 3 players on those salaries given that the wage Budget was set @ £2M. for this season.

I think he may stay. Aslong as Pressley rates him, he will.

He seems to like the club. He's the only player who seems grateful to get playing time (albeit his time has been bits here and bits there, but I think that's more to do with fitness).

He's always smiling when he's on the pitch, whether it be playing, training or warming up / down.

Always one of the first to applaud the fans who seem to have warmed to him.

To be fair We don't known what the age bill was this season, they said it was only around £4m last season yet the wage bill was around £9m including all staff. I suspect you're right but you never know, KD was a bit of a looney.

Are we an average league 1 club then?

Only if the average league one club plays it's home games 34 miles from where it should be to crowds 8000+lower than they should be.

- Profit & Loss
- turnover £6.6m down from 10.8m in 2012
- direct operating costs 2.41m down from 2.52m
- staff costs 6.96m down from 9.91m in 2012
- administrative expenses (ie overheads) 4.14m down from 5.35m
- profit on sale of player registrations 1.65m (includes Turner I think)
- interest payments have increased from 1.26m to 1.81m
- tax charge £59,378

An exodus of around 15 players and recruitment of a further Influx of similar on reduced terms led to a further reduction to £7M. over that term .

Possibly a similar reduction this term ,how many did we lose over the summer besides the Bomb squad ? Maybe £4.5M. total staff so conceivably squad wage bill £2.5M £3M this term .

Looks like we're In for another heavy loss ,cup run and Leon aside minimum £4M.

Get rid of Baker?! He's one of our finest, can give it away but is still great. Especially with a squad as shallow as ours we can't afford to start getting rid of players.
