In terms of HR if we were still in the prem then we would have probably needed to move by now to generate extra revenue.
But im sure if the club owned the ricoh outright we probably wouldn't be having this discussion other than maybe the russ abbot.

When we moved from HR we all said it was the best thing since sliced bread.
Dated stadium with the exception of the East stand. No parking, particularly for residents.
The Ricoh was fantastic, all ready for our expansion and Premier League expectations.
We were loving it and we didn't care that CCFC management had miscalculated and welcomed CCC when they stepped in to save the day.
Now we are in trouble everybody is blaming both sides depending on whether you like SISU or not and ridiculously blaming the stadium for all our poor performances.
CCFC at the Ricoh is the only way forward and we all need to work towards that. Anything else is not going to happen while CCFC exists.

You've done a Jan in this post and seem to be speaking on behalf of everyone! Even though many people have already put their own opinion on this thread, and its different to your view but you still put a 'collective' view by using 'we' or 'we all'.

Got a question or two ......

Bullying ............... isnt that pot calling kettle black TF ? In actual fact isnt that what a lot of business is about in a lot less overt and more subtle way to get the best for the company you represent, why would anyone be surprised that either side tried to bully the other? Of course a sense of partnership and equal contribution on both sides also helps, not over pricing and certainly not expecting something for nothing..... but hey perhaps i have had it wrong all these years

Mr Labovich reckons that they will ground share whilst building a new ground nearer the center of Coventry ........... I thought it was in South Warwickshire? ...... if center of Coventry - where and going to be interesting getting planning permission isnt it ?

Can't be bothered commenting or questionning the rest of the article ................ I just want this over, one way or another

People point to crowd figures as though they will stay like that for good. If the team were successful on the pitch at a good level we wouldn't be staring at a third full ground every week.

look forward to you explaining where they spent the 45 mil

Not on management fees or interest accrued on loans to CCFC then

And before anyone says the accounts show they haven't taken any money you are right they just stack it up as a debt

They've spent it on propping up the club's losses since 2007.

They have also seen crowds fall by half and us get relegated again. I fail to see why I should be delighted to have had them on board-their whole legacy is failure.

I cant think where they mean either mattylad....... all the big ex factory sites already have planning permissions for retail and housing......... the butts just isnt going to be big enough, certainly wont have enough parking....... any "common land" is likely to remain just that i would have thought........ just more bluster from Mr Labovitch perhaps? ..... guess all we can do is wait see?

Some else may have popped it up and tried to make it a success at the same time.

The old courtaulds site at the junction of foleshill road and lockhurst lane is the only site left, it goes all the way through to stoney Stanton road. The courtaulds site in last weeks paper is the other old factory off old church. But with a vacant stadium at the Ricoh does anyone honestly think planning would sign it off

True, but they didn't. There wasn't anyone else, so a silly thing to say really. And either if there had have been then it would have rested at ACL's door as they effectively chose who took us over.

They've only propped up the outcome of their own ineptitude. The average contract duration in the Championship and Division One is less than three years.

They bought the club in December 2007 - that's over 5 years ago.

Losses in 2010 were £3.1m. Losses in 2011 escalated to £6.7m. We have no idea about 2012, as accounts, of course are overdue placing us in embargo. We're already - according to Fisher - going to enter next season (if we still exist) in embargo.

There is not a single player who was on the books at the time they entered the club who's still on the same contract now. Therefore, every contract that's now crippling the club, is a contract handed out by SISU. Every one.

With regards transfer fees, they're in credit; having sold more than they've expended.

Please don't pretend that whatever the 'investment' was or is, it's been benevolence in the direction of 'our club'. It's been to cover the mistakes of successive directors, appointing successive managers adopting successive strategies - with the one common theme being an incessant downhill spiral

The club we support has fallen away into a laughing stock and its worse state for my generation and you have cheek to actually defend them. Crowds of 10k, no investment, no ground and worse off all no interest in the club. SISU have accumulated 80% of the mess we are in and your here defending them post after post.

If you thought it was dated you could go to the newer east stand. The main was the only shabby ine really, but I loved the west end and that will always be my spiritual home.

The west stand was very basic

One potential site is between foleshill rd bridge and church lane (behind Darlaston Builders) If you moved the scrap merchants out then that would be an enormous piece of land for sure...it was traded by the council with a local Indian developer who wanted to place lots of canal side apartments in. Could that be part of any developemnt?

Planning permission of course pending imp:

Can't believe we talk about this. CCC will not approve another stadium in the Coventry area. Warwickshire and West Midlands would do the same. Need to talk about further afield or stop wasting your efforts.

Any decision would be taken by goverment just as the Ricoh was....and I am not saying it will happen but clearly in court they are going to put a counter argument and it appears it may be to say it is cheaper to build a new ground then keep playing where we are so how can the current rates be correct

Its the SAME spokesman and the SAME shite! Judging by the gigantic flop that was the film night, the SBT claiming 1200 members, but these clearly just think its the fan club (which it most definitely is not!

In reality it is a tiny core of 30 self-promoting utterly deluded idioits who expect to have a massive running of the club - yet will be unable to contribute anything.

I wish the media would wise up to these self publicists and give him the ignoring he deserves.

Jan is a nasty piece of work (PERSONAL EXPERIENCE) - SBT will do more harm than good!

the SBT died a death before FOR A REASON!

This is basically the JAN fan club NOT the cov city fan club - if it wasn't then how else explain just 29 people (basically the SBT CORE) turning up to one of their events?

The SBT should go the way of the DODO!

When you cannot even arrange a boycott against HATED owners, what possible basis can you argue they can run a football club?

Standby for the hatemail by PM's as they daren't show their true colours on a forum!

Lets get somethings striaght here...

The film night was absolutely nothing to with the SBT and whilst it was happening at the Albany, the trust were in a meeting at The Stag and Pheasant.

Dean who ran the film night is a top man who gave up his time to put something different on for our supporters at a time when we all need cheering up... you should respect that!!

Lastly the trust failed last time?? Are you forgetting who raised 70K to save our academy... and lets face it where would be be without that now???
