Terrible first half. Hussey clearly unfit. A bizarre Christie moment when the bench appeared to wonder too long over a substitution. Biggi way off the game. Wood in brilliant form.
Then the second half when whatever Baker had in the dressing room, i want some! Macca finding all sorts of space, Bell penetrating, Baker's delightful cross field passes and reverse balls. Keogh and Wood solid and Cameron adding physicality at the back. Then of course Deagan tackling and harrying everyone and getting hold of the ball and drifting into the opositions box, capped by placing his shot past James for the winner.

Question is: Why can't we do that from the start of a game? Why can't Thorn see it without the need for an atrocious first half where we could have been 2 down and game over?
Lets hope he sees it clearly now...

thing is it don't matter if we can keep it at 0-0 and have a terrible first half and then play like we did in thhe second half and score and win then who care's, all 3 point's in the bag plain, simple.

I tell you what was great to see.........our players being able to take the piss a bit by doing that really annoying time wasting thing in the corner of the pitch. Made a nice change

Paxman - the issue of playing for only one half has been a problem for a long long time. It's not just something that has miraculously appeared under thorn.

How many teams are capable of totally dominating their opponents for an entire game in any division, southampton seem to be the sole candidates in this division ,and we have had many dominant first halves this season ,only to peter out or get worked out .I think four of our best results @ home this have come where we hav'nt dominated first half ,and got stronger second .Derby,Reading Forrest and yesterday.
