Ok, I get the “morally wrong” thing, but what choice do we have but to leave the city? What other football ground can they play at?

Would you rather the club indemnify Wasps in case the EC commission finds any wrongdoings?

It’s not that black and white, The question your asking has raised its head less than a month ago, what about asking where the ground is that the owners produced the plans to and said was vital 6 years ago ?

Yes massive question - one that our owners still have to answer... but until that’s built, where do we play?

Until or IF ?

Until, then I have not doubt most would put up with temporary relocation to have a home we call our home

IF, wel, isnt worth thinking about

Both at the moment, I suppose it would be nice if the council could do what they did with Wasps and assist in finding a location for us to buy into

Spot on. It’s “when” or “if” that’s shocking

We do have ground staff and they have their own twitter account at CCFCGrounds

Seem to put a lot more work in than whoever has been responsible for the Ricoh pitches.

I wouldn’t have thought so unless you’re suggesting Birmingham’s ground staff aren’t up to the job?

Imagine the role of our ground staff will be the same as it has been for years.

Why would the EU investigate? We are leaving the EU.

Of course I’m not. I know this site has some experts in all things, but I’d be shocked if there are any insiders in the ability of the Birmingham F.C. groundman

A location for an imaginary stadium that Sisu have no intention of building?

I am honestly not close enough to this one as I dismissed it so wasnt following it. Nick was suggesting we submitted adequate planning permission for woodlands site and council dismissed it ?

Because the transaction occurred under EU law. Leaving has nothing to do with it.

Where was that said? It's baffling how people suddenly don't follow particular things.

if people is me, I said on the other thread I honestly didn't think it was the Woodlands site you were referring to as (maybe wrongly) I dismissed that as a complete non starter due to so many issues (transport, space, listed building etc).

I'm no planning officer or architect, so happy to be wrong and we should get behind sisu and push this site. This should be their approach, get the fans onside with their new stadium development plans

Didn’t set foot in Sixfields as I believed then that SISU were holding the club hostage to get the Ricoh. This time it doesn’t seem anything like as black and white. In fact I now lean towards the view that we have been stitched up good and proper by Wasps and the council working together. Because I want to keep going with my lad and because I want to support Mark Robins and the lads, this time I’m in.

Also CCC used some of EU's money under certain regulations. I am sure they would like to find a reason for getting part back

I live 275 miles away but will try and go at least the same amount as I usually do. This time Wasps and the council have screwed us over. I wouldn’t be surprised if Wasps don’t try and set up their own football team “Coventry Wasps FC” to try and damage us even more

Would take 8 years to get anywhere near football league status! WASPS only have a max of 2 years life left at the RICOH

Looks like you didn’t read my post properly, I said if they’d have dropped all legal action, if they’d have done that it wouldn’t gone as far as the EU commission, sisu are responsible for this mess, they could have stopped this years ago

Unfortunately our owners are not fans. Hedge funds distress to acquire assets cheap and sell for profit. CCFC currently are not costing them money, the only ways to make money is to distress Wasps or get us promoted .
