Sorry but this is nonsense. There is no way the FA would place us 2 levels lower in the conference premier. Not gonna happen. There is probably a bit more flexibility for those already in non league on liquidation, as there's less places to fall.

Using your examples

AFC Wimbledon - 9th tier
AFC Telford - 8th tier
Chester - 8th tier
Darlington - 9th tier
Halifax - 8th tier
Fc united - 10th tier

The idea we would be placed in the league below the football league is unrealistic, despite our crowds. The FA would make an example of us as the biggest english club to be liquidated in a bid to warn clubs not to spend beyond their means and get into dire financial trouble.

That's about what I'd expect tier 8 or 9 but in a decent sized stadium, most of the tier 9 grounds would struggle with crowds of a few hundred, they're just pitches with a barrier round them a small stand or 2 & a clubhouse. I think this one is reasonably typical.

We are a league 1 club with a solid manager at the helm and not a bad budget for this league. So every reason to believe we can be promoted.

Why wouldn't our fans be the driving force? If we were liquidated I can only see the fans as being the ones to start a revival.

Is there any evidence to suggest they would? Apathy has kicked in so not sure why liquidation would 'revive' our fanbase? There will always be the hardcore which is basically our current attendees (particularly our away support) but this myth that all of the NOPM'ers will come flooding back is a joke

Oh, the irony of the Football League / FA making an example of us (the club and its fans) when they essentially signed off on the irresponsible owners who put the club in this precarious situation; but the cynic in me says: yeah, that’s exactly what they’d do.

There is virtually zero chance of liquidation ...SISU's investors simply wouldn't allow it because they would get more from the club being sold off as a going concern ...close the thread.

Even if the unthinkable happened and we were liquidated, there is no chance we would drop more than 3 levels and most likely we would only drop 2 levels. The reason (as already mentioned) is that our support would be far to big for the other clubs to handle in a safe way particularly our travelling support.
