A welcome boost from the checkatrade cup and the potential of that much needed Wembley appearance Has this opportunity delivered an unexpected boost to our budget and an option to bring in on loan or short contract better players. Think the prize to get to the semis is £50k and the final £100k don't know if we would get a bit more if we actually win it. Okay a bit of a calculated gamble that we go all the way but nevertheless an opportunity. but getting in a couple of championship standard players or even Prem club reserves I'm sure will help our desperate plight. So over to you Mr Fisher, there's 5 days left.
I won't be holding my breath.

Doubt we will see any prize money for transfers but out of curiosity do the teams in the final get any significant percentage of ticket sales from Wembley?

might be a big naive but possibly a few Champ players being released might take a 6 month contract with us with the possibility of playing at wembley a factor now. could target un-cup-tied players

We must have made a fair loss on the home games with having less than 2k there.

The maximum the winners would receive is £240k? The £1.95m is the total prize money?
