Its not him though is it... I recall when he requested a transfer.....the following game- was a night game as i recall.. the PA announcer in the kick in broadcast to the whole stadium how SH's request had been rejected.. the crowd went wild....I swear I saw his shoulders slump.. he was never the same player again as memory serves?

BTW.. this has been a nice little distraction Deano, away from the dirge re SISU V ACL that we all seem embroiled in.. maybe with your huge resource bank of old Sky Blue memorabilia you could run one of these every night... bit of a forum quiz night... saves us all falling out for a short while?

Alan Green was not American. It must be Gerry Baker.

He became an American Citizen and played for the US national side against Italy
