Go check If somebody has snook off to smokers corner or on their phone in the bogs!!I'm all pumped up- need to go bollock someone for something to release the tension
For 30+ years we were the 'plucky survivors', lucky to hang in there, seen as part of the furniture. That gets you media coverage but doesn't grow you as a club & doesn't thrill you as a supporter.
Then we became the 'crisis club'- heading down fast with problem after problem. That also gets media coverage but certainly doesn't grow you as a club or make you want to follow us.
In the same period of time, clubs of our ilk have had relegations, promotions, relegations, promotions- excitement and thrills. THAT is what grows you as a club.
The bigger picture to this match is that Robins is genuinely starting something- he's the one who might just change our own perception of ourselves as a club, make us into a club that expects to win instead of expects to lose, engrains in us that we don't have to expect the worst every week, and gets the blood pumping through our sky blue veins throughout a season the way it hasn't since the 60s.
This isn't just about promotion, its about our rebirth as a club, its about making us proud again, its about growing this club into what it could be.
Get there, make a hell of a racket and cheers these guys home- they deserve it, and WE deserve it

now if only Robins could vanquish sisu & wasps from the city, he'd really be starting the phoenix rising.......but I'll settle for the first promotion in my lifetime for now.....

The same Robins that have threads devoted to his sacking? The same Robins who will be under scrutiny if we lose next Monday?I think it actually started the moment Robins walked back in- Checkatrade was the beginning, the start of it. I've been sky blue all my life and even I didn't expect 30,000 sales after such a short time, and I don't remember a manager who has the backing of such a big proportion of us- this is the beginning and we have to keep the momentum going. We might not get another chance to have a sustained run of things to cheer.
