A huge thanks and well done chaps, this concerted & cohesive effort to clarify, is hugely appreciated.
I really do wonder what the 'sisu' mind thought on these perusals is.
I am also worried/concerned as to their obstinance, when COVENTRY CITY fans, clearly want US as a club to be positive & move forward.
I know they are totally money orientated & unfortunately without 'soul/feeling' for our club, I just wish they would have the good grace to put OUR CLUB 1st !!!!

Thanks George, I don't think the board will comment directly on the FAQ's. They probably don't even read them. Just see how Brody apparantly is 'too busy' to stand by his own agreement with Nick to answer the questions in the Ask Leonard thread. Maybe Nick should email Mr Brody and inform him about the FAQ's but as I said, they will probably stay away.
We touch very sensible area's of the way a business is run and usually everything that is discussed and decided at board level stays inhouse. A 'truthfull' discussion can be disruptive and counter productive. It sounds ok when say 'we will turn around the business and have the club live within its means". Put that wording in a statement and nobody will really lift an eyebrow. But if confronted in a truely open discussion with the question: "Does that mean we will have to sell Clingan, Juke and anyone else on high wages or with high value to raise cash for the operation and bring down costs?" then it starts to get a bit too emotional for any board member. They don't want to speak out too specifically as they would in a second have a hostile fan mob on their backs.
Does that mean they are lying or don't put the club first?
No, it doesn't. It means they do what THEY think is the right thing to do, and then let history show if they get it right or wrong.
It's like any big battle. The generals creates a plan, keep it under wraps, accept there will be casualties, put it in motion and when the fighting is over decide the amount of victory or defeat.
