Anyone else watch last night'sepisode?

Absolutely shocking. The disrespect of the police these days is truly awful.

On average police officers are attacked 5 times a day.

Didn’t see it but can very much believe it. A culture of disrespect has been fostered over the years, with the “I know my rights and I’ll do what I want” brigade. Couple that with this nonsense of videoing events/arrests on phones which completely distorts the bigger picture most of the time. I think a large part of it is that it’s public knowledge that the police have insufficient resources to deal with most things.

A wily old police officer summed it up.

He said many kids are just not told 'no'.

He said they grow up and their parents don't say no to them and then they go to school and teachers don't say no to them. Then they encounter the police as as teens and the police say no, you can't do that, they get the backlash of it all.

Female police officers were getting punched in the face and officers were called c**ts, baby rapists, that they f**k their mothers and daughters etc. etc. And some of these were hours long rants.

These officers have to put up with this every day.

One officer said that people don't wish to be police officers anymore.

Who can blame them.

I have the upmost respect for the police and what they go through, when I worked with behaviourally challenges teens some of the verbal abuse I got was awful obviously you have to let it ride over you and show it doesn’t affect you
