Fair point, I didnt mean to direct it quite so harshly, and apologise for that slant. I know you go to games as do I, obviously we both havent been to Sixfields.
I didnt read Andreas's comments as you have portrayed but can see where you are coming from, but then that's the beauty of the forum, or is it the beast, as we all see things differently.
My point was that the 3rd round match at home vs middlesborough in our first season at the Ricoh isn't a marker of how many we would or wouldn't get for a quarter final match.
Funnily looking at last season FA cup quarters
Millwall vs Blackburn 14.8k capacity 20k,
Blackburn vs millwall replay 8.6k capacity 31,367
Everton vs wigan 35k capacity 40k
Season before
Tottenham vs Bolton 30.7k capacity 36.2k.
The season before that
Birmingham vs Bolton 23.7k capacity 30k.
Seems like not all FA cup quarter finals sell out....

I still believe that if we had a successful season at the Ricoh we would have good crowds and a decent run in the cup would give us capacity crowds for those game.
Maybe wrong but that is my view. We have been starved of decent football for a long time.
