Offer a dreadful product and people don't buy it. Simple.

That said, I will still go when I can.

If this was cinema, theatre or any other form of live entertainment there would be zero people there as its not in the slightest bit enjoyable or entertaining.

Who in there right mind would say the seson ticket money spent this far has been money well spent? Not many plus if you had paid £48 for the past 2 games, would you be wanting to go a 3rd time? I don't think so. 2nd half was depressing

To be honest , i gave up a free ticket to crewe next week, with free travel . I hold a season ticket and have missed 1 game this season away . But i dont want to go and watch that more than i already have to , so theoretically , i am doing exactly what the bloke on the phone said

If this system doesn't go, Pressley needs to. Can't believe it's the same guy that played such entertaining football this time last year.

Lucky they got my money for a season ticket while I was on a high.
Couldn't even give it away last week when I was on holiday.

He had better players last season.
Sold or got rid of half of last years first team that struggled in this league, but they were still better then what we have now.

So what do people expect.

The early bird offer excluded cup games in an effort to get people to buy ASAP. Buy later and cup games were included in the ST price.

Just to put this into perspective I found some old programs today from 2008 the drop in attenadance is unreal most games we were pulling in 18-20k Leicester wolves WBA all 24k+ the odd 16k gate the lowest was 14,500 midweek to luton! Yes a lot has changed but this is one hell of a difference

Maybe we should just fold the club. May be best all-round.

Either that or have the club put down.

Bet you a pound to a penny that, that same bloke texting in would be first in line looking for Wembley tickets if we ever got there.

Come January when we draw Arsenal or Man City at home then the place will be rammed, regardless of ticket cost or SISU.

People getting hysterical. It was a shit gate, get over it. Having only 4600 season ticket holders means that a bad run of results and these sorts of attendances become inevitable.

In years to come we'll look back at this period as the darkest period in our club's history (things can't get any worse surely?). When Wolves dropped to the 4th tier in the 80s they pulled in less than 3000 some weeks. Shit happens. We move on and hope in time the fans will return, but it might take a while..

Would be strange if it wasn't I guess, the opportunity to watch top class players locally doesn't happen very often these days

When Wolves, Leicester, Man City, Leeds, Forest, Leicester, Portsmouth, Sheffield United, QPR, Sheffield Wednesday, Charlton, Norwich or Southampton dropped into League One, did any of those clubs ever get a 7k home gate on a Saturday in early October?

QPR were getting crap crowds in the Prem at times IIRC - for a London club they were always fickle. However, I can remember few of theose clubs whose supporters have had to go through as consistent sh*te as we have (I'm talking off field and on field). Still love the club to bits like all on here - but when you're at the bottom of a trough, you're 'now and then' supporters visit less and less (though they still exist - as Gillingham proved).

Depends how far back you want to go. Go back long enough and Leeds/Man City aside there are times when we have been better supported than all those clubs when playing at the same level. Portsmouth averaged 8000 in the second tier as recently as 1997.

Anyway, did any of those clubs go a whole pre-season without barely selling a season ticket? You cannot pretend that there aren't some pretty unique circumstances that have led to where we are. To try and make a point about comparative attendances when we have just had our lowest league gate for 55 years is a bit of a cheap shot.

I don't get why people make the effort to listen to the phone in, then text or phone in just to say they don't care etc.

Same reason people come on here to tell everyone they have no interest in the club and are never going again.
