This is the target for a top 6 finish

Last season was low with 69 points from Chesterfield

20 wins and 14 draws

Would it be too complicated to make this a sticky and have a live graph with 2 lines?

1 line showing average points per game for the 74 point mark and the second for our actual?

it starts well - bombs in November, a couple of wins in january has us looking up - crowds flock in their thousands to an away match only for us to drift towards 17th or 18th place

Ah no worries, we'll do that by the 35th game. 36th if we're on a bad run.

TM is saying we will get stronger as the season wears on.

Bodes well then.

Only 12 losses then ...looks a tall order. Make the Ricoh as TM wants and it does become possible

Great. Can you add a straight line between 0 and 74 points diagonally across the season? We can then see if we are above or below the necessary trend.

Why not do it for 100 points? We have a better chance of doing it than Wigan

Because it will be depressing to be perpetually below trend.

EDIT: Let's have it at 45 points.

Just out of matter interest what figures would you put on us finishing in;

Top 2
Top 6 - 74 pts
Top half
Bottom Half

Hopefully easy to follow. A whole season and the stats get crushed a little.

Great win on Saturday but all the conditions were with us on the day. Long term as has been said before we desperately need reinforcements, it's a long season and we must get in another 4 players or so to compete nearer the top.

Wait, all the conditions were with us? Do you mean like nice pitch, sunny day etc?

Yeah those plus having the likes of Reda fit and playing a team like Wigan who play proper football on the floor, something we can compete at but we will struggle with our lack of physicality against many teams in this League.

We'll see. Too much gets made of the physicality in this league. There's some decent footballing sides, and I feel we can hold our own on the physical side.

They probably are. Didn't show anything on Saturday though. They were VERY poor. Crewe will be the test, but I honestly think we'll be too good for them.

Don't look at the lines - it's the whole of the light green range that's included

I think millwall looked poor saturday because they were chasing shadows all the time ..they didnt have an answer .
The manager has set up them up to deal with league 1 style football .. which we didnt play
