This time next season that will be a massive crowd. In the 4th tier of English Football.

4 wins at home this season. I can't blame anyone from staying away. I know I have.

That is a good attendance given the weather, it's an evening match and the poor run for the team at the moment.

That wasn't the true attendance though was it. Season ticket holders are counted as present when they stay at home. Wonder what the actual attendance was?

It'll seem an even bigger crowd the following season when we're in the Conference!

for every post match "that was a tremendous performance" another 100 or so will give up. His post match comments are as much to blame for the drop off in support as the results on the pitch.

That's a fair shout. My impression from the games this season is that the attendance is always inflated by 1200-1500 , probably due to inclusion of all ST holders etc. Didn't look much over 5.5K to me.

I can't remember the casino being so empty pre-match.

Attendances in league two will drop by a further 2K.

Sixfields reprise.

Imagine how atmospheric the ground will be when 4000 turn up next year.

Anyone know how to find out the "actual" attendance. Wonder if any records are kept.......or is it perhaps preferred that we shouldn't get to know.

Next season we won't have as many absent ST holders to take into account so will be a lot less than the figure given tonight

They will definitely know what the actual attendance is, if they're going to let anyone know is another matter. Try tweeting WMP CCFC account.

I don't have a twitter account. Could anyone else have a go at this please and and quote FOI as suggested by Bigfatronssba. If you get the info you could either post it back on here or start a new thread. It would be very interesting to find out the truth.

Absolutely, cold miserable Tuesday night in Feb. We're not Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea who can pretty much fill a stadium any day of the week

Yes, you're right, we're not a Premier League side. But it wasn't that long ago that we were, and crowds of 20 - 25k+ were a regular thing. If we only had a crowd in the high teens attendance, it was considered poor. THAT is what a lot of us are unhappy about. You accept our plight mate. Cheer on this no-hope of a bottom of division 3 outfit if you like. I'm just glad I witnessed the 34 years of pride.

It's getting to the point where they may as well just open 1 stand and the corporate or maybe just cram everyone in over there, at least it might create a bit of banter with the away fans ?

They wanted to close some of the stands when we came back and people kicked off about not being able to site where they wanted to.

I work outdoors and this is a mild winter and yesterday was spring like, so to use the weather as an excuse to not go is pretty pathetic. I never went because I couldn't be bothered and that makes it now three home games I've missed this season. That has nowt to do with it being cold or wet just that I've reached that stage where it's all getting so depressing.
I'll keep going of course but not as regular as usual as every fan has a breaking point.

I don't recall the police saying stands had to be open. They close them for JPT games so why couldn't they do it for other games?
