Let’s not panic just yet.

Looking at the ins and outs for the championship there hasn’t been a lot going on across the board.

So we're starting pre-season with how many players? 2GK 1CB 2 LWB 1 RWB 4CM 2AM 1ST

11 outfield players. and 4 of them are CMs. 12/5 if you include Howley.

I assume players came come out and join us in Portugal. Even so doesn't seem like you can do much defensive or attacking tactics with what we have.

Most clubs dont have 11 first teamers.

Blimey it really is quiet in terms of incoming but also there’s a lot of players released there, some very experienced, who you think will struggle to find a club.

Half of them haven't played all season I'm not panicking as it's beyond my control but every player should be in by now and ready for pre season training or shall we keep saying Palmer not fully fit in March.

There would be a lot less gnashing of teeth about this if we’d signed some defenders and a couple of marquee signings before it. We’re not really in a position to judge it until the transfer business is concluded.

Problem is we need a pretty much whole squad overhaul - need at least 10 players. You just know come Leicester robins will be sitting their telling us
A) got to wait for the premier league teams to confirm their squads - so we’ve got until end of august

B) the squad needs time to bed in.

with our start we could easily be bottom after 10 games and playing catch up yet again.

would be nice with Record season ticket holders and a new owner to have the majority of a squad ready from the start of pre-Season
