wigan 13131
crewe 11511
southend 12967

total 37,609

Interesting to note that all crowds have surpassed the yeovil game last year - which was the 2nd back at the Ricoh - when there was supposedly a big buzz around the place

Let the TM bandwagon roll on

So, 37,609 - 5,367. That means over 32,000 away fans at our home games. I would say that is not impressive at all.

Chesterfield should be 18,000+ if we beat Scunthorpe? They'll bring a thousand, maybe 1,500. If we got 13,000 v Southend on a cold Monday night then 18,000 is easily achievable on the first Saturday home game since Wigan when we could be top/have a chance of going top.

it wasnt that cold mate - still in August!!
18000 may be a bit far at this stage - happy with 15k

if we are still top 2 or 3 by xmas, would hope to get nearer to 18k

Would say 18,000 is pushing it a but 14,000 - 15,000 would be doable.

Don't think everyone has yet bought into the Mowbray era and it will take longer for a lot of fans to get back onboard after so many years in the wilderness.

If we are top and continue a really good run, then maybe we could get 18,000+ for a big game, but I can't see it just yet.

Sorry matesx but you do realise the same people go to the away games so it's probably about 2500 different people. :slap:

To break the 15000 crowd barrier we will need a lot of on the day walk ups, can't see there being 3000+ extra to be honest.

£18k could pay for someone like Georgios Samaras.

For a week.

Why won't these extra fans just buy tickets ahead of match day?
