I cannot believe there are over 4000 people stupid enough to part with hard earned cash to the hedge fund! Not only that but they claim an additional 300 people who didn't have a season ticket before!

Even assuming these figures are true (which I doubt), isn't that down on 5,700 this time last year? (I assume someone know the figure)

4,000 people buy a season ticket when they are stripping down the squad before their eyes, have a transfer embargo in place, a management team who produce the most league defeats in the history of the club, and they haven't even signed off the accounts!

I seriously want to push these people my latest idea - cow socks (so they don't get their hooves dirty). With 4000+ suckers (I mean potential investors) I could make a fortune - patent pending of course!

I got mine early as rather pay it early for lower price and got a £20 voucher ,I know I will go to every home game so makes sense to buy early . I may not agree with the owners etc but I will still support my local team.

At a time when the club and players need our support more than ever you are suggesting we should abandon them!. Unfortunately I'm unemployed, but if I can find work soon I will be getting my first season ticket.

I will go to every home game too and will pay on the day, that means i will be giving my club about £150 more than you. Does that make me a better supporter ?

I see our owners have invaded this post. There is no way in hell we have sold 4000 tickets, they really do think we are thick as sh**

If the fans turn their backs now then our club will go down the tubes.

Simple choice - may not be palatable but thats the reality.

If you choose not support the club now then you are partly culpable in the clubs extinction.

Harsh but true.

Apologies in advance if this is a stupid question but what happens to all the money from these season tickets if the club goes into Administration or worse still liquidation??? As I understand it the money would be lost and season tickets invalid going forward - that's what would happen in any other business

the club has gone down the tubes, its been like that for years, and as for supporting the club, the fans have done that through all the years for one high point (in my life time), no matter what nobody should be moaned at for buying or not buying a season ticket it is there choice ! i think alot of fans are waiting to see what happens with the club and owners before parting with there hard earned money and they can not be blamed for this. imo:thinking about:

I can't believe you can judge those of us who have purchased season tickets for the club we support so readily. I object to being called stupid.

One day SISU won't be here. I still will be as will many other ST holders who decide whatever is happening behind the scenes to get behind eleven players on a Saturday in Sky Blue. I don't call that stupidity, I call that support.

On another issue, it is possible to get rid of Oggy and Nuddy?

Investors that takeover our club will KNOW why support is down atm.
Imho, buying season tickets is doing nothing but line SISU pockets. Prince put things in perspective by saying....he will "Pay at the gate" doing so he will be paying approx £150 a season MORE than a ST holder. After being told by a few supporters on here that "In general".........You're NOT a real supporter unless you buy a ST....Does that not make him a BIGGER supporter than you?

Supporting CCFC is my religion and like all religion's is a source of hope in what is a pretty depressing Britain at the moment. I have had a season ticket for many years and have already bought one for next season. I go to give encouragement to my team and slag off the manager and owners. In a democracy that is what happens. It is an individuals choice whether they spend their hard earned cash on what to some people may seem folly or indeed lining the pockets of a greedy investor. This is no different to buying cigarettes or a pint or the latest designer fashion. Someone's pockets are getting lined somewhere.

Your letting SISU win if you DO go? Who do you think is going to receive the money from the season tickets? Do you HONESTLY believe even for a second ANY of that is going into the team - Its already been spent last season! This is just going to pay of THEIR loans!!

How Naive can you be. It IS possible to support the team without going to the home games. It is not loyalty - it is utter madness. Don't moan when they do one with the season ticket money - you only have yourselves to blame!

While i understand your frustration PSGM1, you need to understand that us stupid people love our club and will support them through the good times (not much of them) and the bad times (lots of) regardless of who is trying to kill our beloved club (SISU wankers) it is in our blood. I don’t want to give them my hard earned cash but i have a mind set of supporting my team who, at the moment need every bit of support they can get at the moment, I urge all those sitting on the fence, get up there and get your season ticket and back the boys, SISU OUT, CITY TILL I DIE, REGARDLESS

I have no problem with lining pockets, as long as there is an end product to show for it. Can you truthfully say there is an end product with SISU at the helm?:thinking about:
Designer Fashion experts give the customer what the customer wants...new designs etc, does SISU give us new players??? NO! They sell them instead..........I know what the first words out of Alan Sugars' mouth would be.....YOU'RE FIRED!!!

YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO TO HOME GAMES TO SUPPORT THE TEAM !!!!!

Buying a season ticket right now is like buying into a christmas club, that has just sold all its stock, is banned from buying anymore stock, and will use the money to ensure the owners get a christmas bonus! Would you seriously invest your hard earned in a business like that.

IF they come out and say we have bought x number of players, or have the stadium and GUARANTEE they will not sell it - then Maybe just maybe it is a valid thing to buy your ST now. But it is UTTERLY INSANE to by a season ticket now!

If you cannot see that then I'm sorry but there truly is no hope for you! The ONLY thing these parasites understands is money. Starve them of that they will leave - GUARANTEED. If anything you are letting down the club by buying a ST. I say it again - BUYING A SEASON TICKET NOW IS UTTER MADNESS

Don't believe these figures, its total bollox. Why on earth would they be up on last season?,were in the league below and the lousy shits put the prices up. It's more spin from the nobs in the ivory towers trying to create a feelgood factor and a ooh they must be doing something right so id better go and renew. Is it any coincidence that a lot of the user names defending buying season tickets on here you've never heard of?

It actually makes him a circcumspect supporter ,and Sisu will recieve more money this way ,but they will have to show financial committment of their own to get his,not unreasonable for a business owner to make investment to operate ,let alone grow a business ,if they don't have the means theey should'nt be involved.

More crap from sisu so much for open and transparent. Good to see the club is on the crest of a wave , I must have muissed something.

4000 season tickets sold so far is about as credible as a gate of exactly 9000

I have seen and read it all now on here. This is a prime example why this club will always be a second-rate lower league club. Fans having a go at their own for supporting their team.

What a fooking pointless debate, well my hard earned cash has gone to the club, what it gets spent on I really don't give a flying f**K, as long as I can take my son to the footie instead of being sat at home on a Saturday. So much for our Cov song then I guess that lies too? Always sing together my arse!!

So what about the armed forces - people who cannot make it to games - people with little money - These people cannot support the team?

It is utter arrogance to say you MUST go to games to support the team! When I was serving in Iraq, I couldn't watch games, yet I bought replica kit, listened to the world service etc.etc.

DO NOT TELL ME I don't support the team just because I don't want to pay off a hedge fund's loans! Unfortunately football is a LUXURY. IT IS ENTERTAINMENT. IT IS NOT LIFE OR DEATH. I have a life outside football ! I have made a principled stand NOT to go to games whilst under SISU (agree with me or not - I don't really care). Me and my son both used to be a season ticket holder. BUT NOT UNDER SISU !

Unlike the half arsed semi - boycott, If I make a stand on principle, I stick to it! You CAN support the team WITHOUT lining the pockets of SISU.

How many times do YOU have to be told...skybluesteve76...I go to away games to support my Club...I pay out a lot more money than most City fans(Verify that with Astute) he knows more than you, what I and He goes through to follow Coventry. Torchomatic says he gets upset at being called stupid by some posters for buying a ST. I get offended by being TOLD I'm not a supporter by prats like you!
If you want to line SISU pockets with your hard earned cash, do it! that's your prerogative, as it is mine who chooses NOT to.
I've been there, done that, even bought the video, and spent thousands upon thousands of pounds on a ST, AND, following CCFC away from home as well.

I am the same, got the £20 voucher, free scarf etc. I will always go to all the home games so it makes sense. In a way we are taking from SISU because they have to gives us the extra's. If you have got you ticket later you miss out on this little add on's

Do you think every supporter goes to every game? Doesn't mean they don't support the club!
Just means they have more sense than money!
