It really isn't.

Everything in that post is accurate.

You stated results declined sharply after Cole's arrival. You then immediately changed it to over the course of his time here.

Which part of that is drivel, inaccurate and embarrassing?

What is embarrassing is how time and time again on the forum you make a statement, are proved incorrect and then try and change the narrative of the conversation to either deflect onto something else or make it look like you'd said or asked something completely different in the first place. It's plain as day and embarrassing that you think you're getting away with it.

People said it at the time that it screwed up the team having Cole in the team.

We need to stop arguing about the past. That season ended and we were 8th. This season we can get promoted. We cannot still get promoted from that season unless someone has a time machine. We need to focus on the future. What use is nit picking an ex cov player for a season that finished 4 years ago. #pusb

The other day he said Mark Robins can't coach the strikers in the team because he used to be a striker himself.

He / she is either a troll or a simpleton.

Didn’t he say Walsh was not good enough at this level as well?

You can actually see what the strikers try to do, on Sky on Sunday it was stated that Robins coaching to strikers is to pick your spot early and go for it. You can see our strikers do that, particularly Hiwula, just the execution isn't always that good.

Further to my original point - they unsurprisingly were the only 2/3 players who had an idea what he was going to do

Strange we gained more points without him then

Did I say that? I said sometimes people who are naturally good at something aren't necessarily capable of telling others how to do the same. You can teach the basics of what to do but if there is something you do subconsciously that makes you better than everyone else at something you can't teach it because you don't that you're doing it slightly differently.

In that respect a player watching old clips of how certain players do things might be more instructive as they can try and pinpoint what it is they're doing differently and try and replicate it themselves. But if that innate ability isn't there to begin with chances are it will only have a limited effect.

Why are there extremely successful managers who've had very mediocre playing careers? Similarly why do a large number of very talented ex-pros fail at management/coaching? Why didn't Maradona's teams just waltz round every opposition team with ease? I assume we can expect teams managed by the likes of Xavi, Iniesta and Pirlo to never, ever play a misplaced pass. As for any teams that may be coached by Messi or Ronaldo in the future.......boy I can't wait to see that.

Nope. Never said that. Perhaps your 'photographic memory' has run out of disk space or got corrupted?

What I have said is when Kelly is fit Walsh would be the person I'd drop as he's the most similar in style to him in the team right now.

I would say that compared to Dennis Wise at the club Joe Cole was crap and was a luxury we did not need along with a few others like Hunt , Yak , Kilbane etc
