First time I’ve dared to look on here properly for a while because I knew it would be a cesspit. God I love this club and I love Mark Robins hahahahah PUSB

This would have been possible if we'd won our last game in the 1980/1 season and won our first game in the 1981/2 season (we didn't).

Tbf, on today's performance we should have hammered QPR

Good starting point.

Hopefully we go on one of those runs Robins has always got us on where we madly go unbeaten in 13 or something.

I'm kind of fascinated about the dynamics behind the scenes. Genuinely how a group of players can look like they were trying to get him the sack then today running though walls for him. Very happy with 4 from 6 though expected the draw today and 3 against QPR. I'm hoping that in a weird way the expectations being lower over coming fixtures will relax the team and maybe even help them surprise me. Personal expectations for season? Delighted with top ten, happy with top half. Just want to see an attitude like today

I'm still peeved about losing to Sheff Wed in the 93rd minute after been on top last 15 mins. Should be 4 unbeaten now.

Thought even at half time our performance level vs pretty much any other league game this season was night and day. I had us down to lose today but I’ve come away thinking we can still salvage the terrible start into a possible challenge towards the right end of the table.

Even at 1-2 I was thinking we’d done enough to buy Robins more time. Massively improved performance. Need to follow it up at Boro next week now.

So many accusations lately that the players haven't been putting in the effort for the manager this season but tbh I haven't seen that at any stage. Things just haven't clicked, that's all.

Such depressing overreactions on here to a run of poor results. We've only been properly outplayed once. All the other games have been pretty tight, and with average luck we could easily have been be upper mid table IMO - it would only have taken a couple more wins.

I like to think of myself as one of the happy clappers but at half time I really didn't know what to make of it. We were playing well, looking threatening but heading for another demoralising defeat. The win was exactly what we needed.

Tough fixtures ahead but we can beat anyone on our day.

Not one to blow my own trumpet, but I did think we would get 4 points out of the two games and surely this way round is a lot more satisfying, in beating a side we weren't expected to beat, rather than beat QPR and draw against Luton.

Beating the higher ranked side shows we can compete with the best at times in this division.

I don't ever find any victory demoralising.

Wasnt too disheartened at H/T. Thought we'd been mugged by a decent side who gave us a lesson in being clinical. Have been far more pissed off on numerous occasions this season.

2nd half was immense. Doubt they'll be that rattled many times this season.

Tbh at 1-2 I had that feeling that I had with our many comebacks under Robins, the game was only going one way

Other thing I’d say is I’m not expecting points from Middlesbrough. As long as we keep our performance level up that would be enough for the time being to convince me we’re over the worst of it.
