My mate wants exactly the same draw. For me, I would be happy if we avoided a League One team. An away game against a non League One team would be great. My dream match would be United away, cus in the form they're in, we could win if we play well, but in the cup, you get what you get

How can people speculate on a 3rd round draw if "the plan" is not to attend the replay? If you want the glamour tie, which puts money in sisus pocket, surely you should go to the replay?

If Its Chelsea at Sixfields you couldnt go unless Tim gave away free tickets.

Man Utd at Sixfields so Northampton fans can see a top class team.

Assuming we beat hartlepool a poorly supported championship, league 1 ir 2 team away that are playing well. This way SISU dont get the extra cash from a money spinning glamour tie.
I know us as fans miss out but thats how I feel about our owners

I'd fancy our chances against them. But not sure it appealing enough for the players to want to get past Hartlepool in the replay

Always a good away day. Great atmosphere in the away end and you get to have a kick about in the sports centre.

Were you punching the air when Hartlepool equalised yesterday?

To be fair, whats the point of staying in this cup? Lets concentrate on the league.

You're not aloud to say that, you'll get accused of not being a fan.

Personally, I'm just pleased the club will be starved of income. Hopefully we'll have to sell Christie, Wilson, Clarke. That'll show 'em.

Assuming we beat hartlepool this would be winable though especially with the large away following we could have. At least its not a glamour tie though

Good draw I think. Certainly winnable, easy to get to, not a bad ground, and a small crowd so less money for Joy.
