1-0 down
Huckerby scores a great individual goal,Dublin then a late strike from Telfer
Memories.......
and David James was in goal for the reds.He holds the record of appearances for different
clubs against the city and he hasn't won many

Nice one, great memories. I can just see me and my brother on both the second half goals. We were right against the barrier about 3 rows from the front.

I remember the city singing "dodgy keeper" about David James, and the Liverpool fans applauding their agreement!

One of my favourite games that, though gutted when Telfer scored to make it 3-1 at the end, had a tenner at quite good odds to win 2-1.

Boeteng and Whelan awesome in central midfield that game, near the start of a fantastic run for us in League and Cup.

Think the next round was Villa away wasn't it? Won 1-0, Moldovan.

Then it was Derby at home 2-0, strangely very easy, then of course Sheffield United.
