No. The value is more. Whether the council has an interest that the club brings in revenue is a different subject. You could say that the council could accept a lesser offer from an existing club than a new one. Doesn't alter the value to us, but helps in negotiations. The value to us if only based on TF's guesstimate is up to circa 30m. We could go that high and not be worse off.

SISU would have done exactly what wasps have done and mortgaged it. The very same thing people wrote to their local councillors begging the Ricoh not to be sold to SISU for that reason. From the CC ratepayers view, it's still very much wait and see. They have been here a year, not long enough to judge. Sterling work though Italia. You keep at it with that sweeping. Not according to Torch. They were offered an alternative at Boreham Wood of a 15000 seater ( your favourite number for an exclusive stadium ) stadium with a hotel for 22m. Not more expensive- if you include loan repayment for the Ricoh. Point being that 15000 with a hotel is no match for the Ricoh, even if it is far away. A no brainier for Wasps, but constant posturing and haggling for us ( SISU ). Now we are discussing a 15000 stadium at the Butts.... What will that cost and what facilities will we get? Won't happen will it? Should have gone in friendly and bid up to 30m for the lot with no messing about.
One slight flaw. They haven't paid for the loan. Bond purchasers have. All they actually need to do is pay the 6% return for now. The total cash outlay or mortgage dependant upon is zero.
So what's £30 million got to do with anything? They've paid virtually nothing. They can't even pay for the academy that's supposingly bring built.
