Surely we've offered Cranie a decent contract to play in the third tier?

The present squad + Cranie + the injured trio to return wouldn't be much off PNE's squad last year, so I'd probably expect a slightly better season than they had, all things being equal. That'd be a result as far as I'm concerned! But it does all feel a bit pointless trying to pick a team whilst we are in this limbo. I can't bring myself to think about picking a team even as most of them could be gone soon..

Before people start raving about the quality of our squad in this league. Just a reminder to everyone that we don't fare very well against teams in the lower divisions.

Gonna put my neck on the line here and say For league 1 standard, is that starting 11 really that bad? OK, they wouldn't last a whole season but it's a start!

We definately need more / better players I admit that, but for something to work off its not as bad as some suggest

In fairness I think he will, but at present, he's still with us so remains an option

Sisu are holding out for a mars bar and pack of crisps for him at the moment!! Teams won't stretch much past the mars bar.

That'd be down to a complacency that oughtn't be there now that we are one of those teams. Hopefully.

unless something happens in the meantime, all that list are due to report back on 1st July.

Its been muted that Mcpake and RoD are on offer...

Just losing them two really does show he weak our squad is, as it would then be...

O'Donovan will be 27 in August and 31 goals/74 games occurred pre-July 2006 for Cork City.....so in 6 years ROD has scored 12 goals and only played 86 games (~14 appearance a season) - they are shocking statistics

What about wilson

Truth be told, no one should be worrying about this, the starting two up top should be Johnson Clarke-Harris and Cody

In fairness Jeffers is young and hasn't had a real crack at playing regularly.

We don't fare very well against anyone, hence ending up in the lower divisions.

Don't forget when we come out of the transfer embargo we will sign 11 new players...I think it's the first eleven fans who can buy the shirts

I know he has'nt gone yet but Bigi ahead of Thomas ,i will be surprised ,he's not at the same level of readyness yet,we're going to need every ounce of physicality and scale this season.I expect him to be gone and in all honesty think he would benefit from a couple of years in Newcastles enviroment, however being selfish i hope i'm wrong and we can nurture him .
