Is the CBS still built as a modular stadium where it can be expanded without too much issue? Wasn’t original Arena 2000 meant to be able to do that?

Dont think Arena 2000 was as was already double tiered and with the sliding roof. I do remember them saying this one could be expanded if need be, Think we would have to be an established prem team with a huge ST waiting list for it to be considered.

The original Model of Arena 2000 is in the board room at the CBS

One of the plans was that it was 60k and could drop to 30k by dropping down curtains that cut off the back of the stands IIRC

Not PNE midweek - they won't sell their allocation.

The Cardiff City stadium is basically the same design and they managed add an extra tier, even if they now only open it for Wales games so could maybe do something like that.

Long way to go before it is for the cost though.

Was he still needing to read WLADITT off the scoreboard (that he asked to be put on)? Doug is tighter than Rambo’s headband so I can imagine he wants every penny’s worth out of the big screen.

Yes, still a big segregation net next to block 1 and some silly PUSB drapes over the seats either side of the dug out

Seems to me.....

Next season.....

All away fans are invited to a premier, classy viewing of the game live stream (FREE hot dogs!!) tail gate party, (AT TESCO's parking lot...) so 32,000 odd Coventry-Bedworth fans can enjoy their game IN PEACS5

If we get to the prem another 10k seats could do with adding. Would be about another 7m a year in season ticket sales and f&b at least. Need all the income we can get.

Yes thats the one I look at. I quite like that extension, looks interesting. Completely unnecessary mind.

Depends who's seats they were. If STHs then they were counted in the numbers regardless. What I'm not sure about is the away fans. They sold their allocation but if not all attended maybe they weren't counted.

They got over 32K apparently. Obviously only about 6K of those would have actually paid for a ticket so not sure it should count.

There are more seats available on the balcony than we can safely accommodate people into.

There's the segregation areas that lose a few hundreds, and live games lose seats in 2 of the corners to sky cameras. Which may explain why the Stoke game was the record attendance as we didn't lose those corner seats.

No segregation either is there? So not sure football capacity could ever get that high.

There's was still quite a few empty seats in the family zone as well but I would assume they get counted on the attendance if they're there or not.

From seeing how full the CBS was on Saturday and knowing what we now know about Wasps, pretty sure that figure would have been made up .
