Is that bit big enough for a stadium though? You might be able to squeeze a small 20k stadium on there but if we want success/ambition for the future then surely we'd need a ricoh size stadium? If the owners were to build a ground we don't want to limit ourselves by building something small with no room to expand?
The only downside is the farmhouse has lost its alcohol licence!

Well I would say it’s as long and wide as the old Highfield Road site and there’s room to make it wider, will never happen though neither party sisu or council are remotely interested in a new ground being built anywhere.

No chance of him going there. He’s wider than both sites.

Good to see that the question about ccfc playing in Coventry was ahead of the question about the font sizes in the programmes

Well it seems this will lead to an announcement of a preferred site which if they do announce would be an interesting step forward. Is there real intent to build is the question?

It’s box ticking for the EFL ?. Surely woodlands was the preferred site ?, have they ruled that out now ?

@CJ_covblaze What was said in the end about your meeting with Wasps?

I must have missed the articles about it on the Trust site or the bits given to the Telegraph and you didn't reply to me asking about it?

Pretty much what you’d expect and nothing new. The door is open as long as the complaint is dropped. They want it sorted as it’d be better for everyone. That they did warn them last year that if the legal weren’t dropped there would be no deal.

What did they say when you asked them about the indemnity clause?

Did you point out that the legal action would be the EU against CCC? Did you also point out the complaint can't be dropped?

What did they say in reply to those? Your reply there just sounds as if you are being a messenger for them doing a bit of PR at a time when there's negative press against them. Did you just happen to go on CWR the same day there was negative coverage about Wasps and drag up something they had said over and over about SISU?

Strange, I remember the same thing happened when they wanted to move into the Higgs and kick the academy out.

SISU can ask for it to be dropped or at least for it to put even lower down on the list than it is already so it’ll be sorted in 15 years rather than 5-8.

Edit: To play devil’s advocate with regards with who the complaint is against if it’s not against Wasps (which it isn’t) why would SISU (not CCFC) have any problem in indemnifying Wasps of any legal costs incurred?

You didn't answer my questions...What did they say when you challenged them about certain points?

Can SISU ask for it to be stopped now then?

As I said, you were rolled out on a particular day to try and get everybody angry about SISU when there was negative stuff going on about Wasps. Did you even ask them about the other points or were you just given a press release to read out?

You should have quoted Dr MacLennan, a senior lecturer in law...

"The European Commission is in charge of policing state rules, so SISU’s complaint is very much like referring someone – in this case Coventry City Council – to the police.

"It is probably fair to say, therefore, that SISU are not bringing any legal action against the Wasps."

What did Wasps say when you pointed out there was no legal action against them?

What did Wasps say when you asked them about the indemnity clause? It is a simple question...

How about the indemnity clause? Why are the trust continuing to ignore this massive point... Dave boddy has mentioned it numerous times so why is no one asking wasps about it?

And how would extending it make it better, surely that would make it worse.

CJ - I really appreciate you coming on here and giving updates but surely you can see why most of us view the trust as not fit for purpose at this time, they have failed the football club and it's fans

It's a really simple question.

What did Wasps say when you asked them about the indemnity?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out the legal action wasn't against them?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out that it can't be dropped?

CJ is just being a spokesman for Wasps on a day there was negative publicity against them, you really couldn't make that shit up.

I do get the impression it’s so low down on the EUC’s priority list at present that it is the sort of thing they’ll let ride for decades if they can get away with it. If SISU were to ask for it to not be considered it will certainly help the club’s cause.

Edit (again sorry): To add to my previous point in the other edit if they’re not worried about the outcome I don’t really see what the issue with doing a deal is. It’s like two children squabbling in the playground.

Because they wanted CCFC to indemnify also.

Are you really trying to justify this? You are an absolute joke.

Can you answer the simple questions about your meeting with Wasps when you asked them things?

What did Wasps say when you asked them about the indemnity?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out the legal action wasn't against them?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out that it can't be dropped?

Your shit isn't going to wash.

Because the club (not sisu) have said numerous times that if the legals go against the council and they have to pay out it will.bankrupt the club (again not sisu) and why should they bail wasps out if they are proven to have done something illegal.

If you are going to come on here as a spokesman please do your research first and don't swallow everything that wasps say

It's almost as if they didn't actually ask any questions but are just repeating what they say.

Absolute pricks. To think CJ still tries to make out everybody else is thick as fuck and can't see straight through what he tries to do.

The Trust really should be fucked off now and just re-label as council and Wasps PR volunteers.

Was could burn a CCFC shirt live on TV and the trust would not speak out about it.

It’s pretty embarrassing that the so called fans group won’t ask factual questions and don’t raise counterpoints.

Is this where the bullshit comes out when there are a couple of basic questions that can't be answered as per usual.

"Im working"
"We are all busy with our lives and work"
"I dont have time for this"
"I am on holiday"
"I don't know what was said, I wasn't involved"

Just answer the simple questions CJ..

What did Wasps say when you asked them about the indemnity?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out the legal action wasn't against them?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out that it can't be dropped?

You have gone from SISU can drop this to SISU can request this to be dropped which will look good for the club within a couple of posts.

Why do you persist in trying to bullshit city fans and trust members?

As I stated we asked why they can’t do a deal. What harm would it do. We asked if they’re not worried about losing what do they have to lose. We asked if they realised what damage it was doing to the local businesses and community. Can’t really expand more than I have.

So what were their answers?
You didn't ask about the indemnity?
You didn't challenge them?

Do you really not see how embarrassing you are being? You had a meeting with them and then when they were getting negative press you fired up the PR machine in the Telegraph and CWR to try and get everybody angry about SISU again.

Do you not see how obvious it is? It's actually laughable.

Please just answer the simple questions:

What did Wasps say when you asked them about the indemnity?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out the legal action wasn't against them?
What did Wasps say when you pointed out that it can't be dropped?

Why are you so scared of questioning Wasps bullshit?

I’ve already stated this.
What did Wasps say when you asked them about the indemnity?
That if it’s not against Wasps why do SISU (not CCFC) have an issue in covering their legal costs.
What did Wasps say when you pointed out the legal action wasn't against them?
See above.
What did Wasps say when you pointed out that it can't be dropped?
That it can’t be dropped but SISU can certainly make it easier for the EUC to not pursue it for a while.
You have gone from SISU can drop this to SISU can request this to be dropped which will look good for the club within a couple of posts.

But you could go to the press and say boo sisu and yay wasps on the day that the Henley group actually went to the press with their issues and it was widely picked up (apart from the telegraph of course but that's to be expected)

Of course we all hate sisu for what they have done to the club they are utter cunts and the sooner they fuck off the better but we all want to be back playing in our home city and the cause of us not doing that is wasps outrageous demands around indemnity which again the trust (who speak for the fans apparently) aren't willing to ask wasps about.... Don't worry there are plenty of free tickets going around to their games if you piss them off asking the questions your members want asking you will be able to get some
