Keep your eyes on relegation odds, today they lie between 9/1 and 6/1, when this news filters through to the bookies I reckon the odds will close a bit.

Above was this time last week...

So as I predicted the odds are closing and today run between 3-1 and 7-1, 5-1 being about the average....

It will soon be down to evens .. mark my words..

Hardly worth the money on now. Won't give quite enough cushion of comfort when we do bite the dust.

To be honest these sort of things mean nothing. I haven't even given a thought to next season, 4 weeks away, no ground(officially), no sponsors, embargo, no kit, few fans left.
The bookies should be giving odds as to whether we will start the season.
Finally, I think SP deserves a medal for being so enthusiastic and positive. SISU certainly chose the right man for the situation we are in. I would love things to work out for him.

That has only eight teams who have longer odds than us on average. It doesn't so much scream 'Cov are going down' as it does 'no idea who's any good in this division'

Indeed - I think plenty scoffed at the idea that we were amongst the favourites to go up last season.

football league hold your head in shame

Disgraceful and hold your head in shame is only one of the words I can use for the Football league in their continuous ongoing ignorance of our plight.
We play in their league under their rules, and if you break the rules they come down hard as clubs and players have found in recent years and very quickly in the majority of cases.but not this case
We Cov fans and many fans of rival teams, politicians, and influential people in the game have all said that trying to make us play in a stadium 30 miles away from our city in a subbuteo stadium is not acceptable when we have one of the nicest stadiums in Europe. The football league has the power to stop this nonsense today by simply saying NO if you want to play in our league it must be at the Ricoh and we will help you come to a compromise around te table with the two parties
The game is often called the peoples game so football league wake up stop peeing about and put a stop to this nonsense.

Wortha look but I still think the odds are pretty pointless before a balls been kicked. Yes its obviously based on factors like the situation we are in and lack of signings but if all of a sudden this mess was sorted and SP brought in 3,4 or 5 decent signings them odds would change dramtically. What were Yeovils odds on promotion this time last year. What was Wolves odds to get relegated this time last year. Its pointless.

I never could have imagined whilst stood on the West Terrace in 2000 watching Robbie Keane in sky blue that 13 years later we'd be 3/1 to be relegated to Div 4.

SISU - hang your heads in shame.

Still, on the plus side I got 8/1 last week. Every cloud.
