That's great news. The additional funds, if sustained, will hopefully allow them to make the ground improvements necessary to achieve promotion.

2-2 they conceeded late on from a set piece ... bit of scramble - all a bit familar!

PLayed mr blue sky before each half kick off / got a warm welcome and asked if i know other city fans who might go down.

For the record i prob won't go regular as the standard is poor.

Won't be going northampton but will hopefully make most our away games, found myself celebrating our equaliser (listening on radio and got a few looks!)

non league always play down the crowds, they don't have to put so much through the books if they down grade the official gate. i go to watch rugby town from time to time and my guess is there is always more there than they announce on the tannoy and tell the league for their records.

How much lower are they than Nuneaton? They charge about £18 so £5 isn't that bad really.

the players do not get paid as far as I am aware, the club covers ex's I am lead to believe, this might change if they continue to get bigger gates, my lads at Hinckley and they charge £10 adults and under 16's £3 (I think) cracking ground, with real footy, i love it...

Yes he did, he was a mixed bag, loved by some and hated by some, the general consensus is it was his time to go, bad season last year with relegation, they had to play a lot of young uns, my lads just signed for the youth team been there 3 seasons now, so fingers crossed for him...it has the potential to be a great non league team...or even a league team, great set up...bubbles was well before my time!!

Hinckley used to get the villa reserves playing there though not sure how much revenue that made them.

The league set minimum prices at that level I believe. Not 100% sure though.

I don't agree, they might be a lovely friendly club but adopting an entirely different club, severs the linear history.

IMO a new club is Coventry City regardless of it's official title, same colours, same City, same fans = same club.

Yes, but you need to stick together, not go to another club. I've been reading this forum for while now and you are all over the place, going to Sixfields, not going to Sixfields, going away, not going at all, going to united, going to Sphinx, going to the rugby, going to Nuneaton, sitting at home etc etc

I think it's the messiness and complexity of the situation, nothing final has happened, it's not 100% clear to all who the villain is, etc. Also how close to the start of the season it all happened made things difficult.

If anyone else is like me, my own mind isn't decided between protesting, new club, giving up all together, etc. etc. so it's hardly surprising the fans are like that en masse.

Saw in the paper yesterday that their reserves are playing at burton Albion rather than Hinckley next season - that might affect hinckleys income?

Of course acl could always rent the ricoh out to villa reserves - joking!

OK - didn't know that, that's going to hurt a little, money is tight at the GK.
