A small army of technicians and other workers were busy on Thursday putting some of the finishing touches to preparations for the 2019 Godiva Festival in War Memorial Park. This year's event is different in that there is a £2 daily admission charge. More than 45,000 tickets have been sold in advance but organisers have reminded people they can turn up and pay on the gate too. We took a look around the site.
