Not expecting much to happen for a few weeks. We're now after quality not quantity. We will need to replace anyone sold which we can't do until we know who's leaving. Otherwise we won't be bringing many in. Any transfers already agreed would have signed by now. The quality players we will be after will most probably take their time to see what alternative offers are on the table.
Lampard being on holiday won't change a lot. Times have changed. There's people in place to do the negotiations. If needed video calls can be done at any time.

9 players???3 or 4 of quality plus 4 or 5 backup is what’s needed. If we can fund that without major outgoings then fine. Two seasons running we’ve run out of squad before the end of the season. The squad is not fine.
