Yep, may as well just get used to being a Championship team long term. If we don't sign another midfielder then we leave today weaker than we started.

Boro signing Alan Browne on loan. Wouldn't have minded that.

Hasn't had an injury to keep him out for about 6 years. It's not him I'm worried about.

It sounded like we touted him to Wolves at £15m if that's to be believed

More worried about Torp, who has had a few injuries. We lose a lot of creativity if he's out, with no obvious replacement.

Really, just cause he hasn’t had a injury doesn’t mean he won’t. Madness

People think Grimes is Bruce Willis in unbreakable the way they're going on about him.

COH was indestructible too until he did his ACL

How are we much better in depth in defence? As it stands we've sold Binks with no replacement. The way its going, until we've proof of Wolf in a sky blue shirt, it might not even cross the line. Still time for him to sign for blunts and our only signing of the day go sidewards

The ccfc website has been updated and the Obikiwu news in in 2 spots, I sense this is preparation to remove the story occupying the prime position with the Woolfenden announcement. Bloody well hope so anyhow.

Hopefully the club don’t put a conclusion of business tweet out at 7pm so we can pretend there’s more coming for the 2 hour grace period

I don’t think Raphael is anywhere near ready and the other 3 would never play in a front 3. We’d have to change formation if we had a couple of injuries in the forward line

Really disappointed to be honest, especially as the early signs are that the league might be more open this year. Our first XI is right up there with the top sides in this league but we’re so lacking in depth in key areas. Was expecting at least one winger in on top of Woolfenden and a replacement for Sheaf. Chasing Hughes for as long as we did looks so amateurish when he clearly wasn’t available and we weren’t going to change Hull’s mind.

Probably need to accept the biggest win this season for the future is the stadium and just see if we can do the best we can. To be honest if we match the last 3 seasons that's an achievement
