I think they'll finish top 6. It's not just the money but it's the momentum.

Yeah it’s a real fucker that we’re likely to have genuine competition from at least 2 of the teams coming up.
Let’s hope Leicester are given a 20 point penalty and are ruined financially to take up one of those relegation spots/are removed from a promotion place.
Let’s hope for that anyway.

Hope we don’t go anywhere near Championship targets, they tend to be poor value. Sheaf is the obvious move on. Short amount of contract left, role now covered by Grimes, still a semblance of reputation.

Think Sheff Utd will have to sell and not receive a lot of funds due to financial constraints

Keep Sheaf! Providing he stays injury free, him and Grimes will be a good midfield pairing

Yeah I wondered about them too but didn’t they get rich new owners or something?

Would Newcastle pay £25m on a prospect or £40/50m on a proven player. I think the latter.

Massimo Luongo leaving Ipswich, could he sit alongside Grimes? Hard worker and wins a lot of tackles..

I could only take that seriously if Birmingham weren’t 4th favourites.

Everyone (myself included) scoffed at Ipswich being 3rd favourites in 23/24

There must be something in the data for them to be priced that highly

Unfortunately I do think they’ll be pushing top 6

They bought a highly competitive Championship team for the Premier League , they will sell Delap for a lot and will have a sizeable war chest - if they are not up in the top 4 then something will be going rather badly

Relegation can knock the stuffing out of a team, especially when half the squad think they're PL players.
Look what happened to Luton.

Look at the starts to the season we had following the playoff and cup semi-final defeats.

VAR robbed us of a cup final place, and the next thing you know we are in a relegation fight and Robins is sacked!

Will depend on the punishments the EFL give leicester and Ipswich. That will send a kessste to others including Birmingham that might be tempted to bust the PSR rules in an attempt to go up.

Just been swimming…arthritis has ended my glorious football career…and was chatting to a couple of Cardiff fans in the pool. I said Cov fans are talking about signing Salech. One said he wasn’t all that, that he (Salech) “thinks he’s better than he is”.
The other fan, a season ticket holder, said she loves him and thinks he’s brilliant.
Thanks a lot useless cardiff scouts.

One thing they were entirely in agreement on was how much they hate Sheffield Utd….”their fans are fucking horrible”.

I know we’re not keen on loans but I’d be trying to get that Donley from Spurs next season. Has been great for Leyton Orient and would provide some creativity through the centre that we sometimes miss.

Obviously won’t happy anyway, but I really wouldn’t want that rat KDH anywhere near the club.

Rudoni is way better regardless.

Only watched that Ethan Galbriath in the playoff games, but he looks like someone who would fit our style of play.
