Would people consider the decision to sell Binks was a mistake if we don’t add a centre half?

Yeah. You can’t do half a season with only 3 senior centre backs. Especially when none of them are particularly brilliant.

No it was a good deal and gave us plenty time to sign one. It’s a failure on recruitments part if we dont

No because apparently he was on squillions a week, and nobody rated him

Just 2 days. Then we'll all be able to decide if window = good or window = shit and move on with our lives.

Glad we’re walking away from Hughes. Calamity defending from him today for Hull and what we need is experience so we don’t have Kitching and Thomas consistently giving away stupid free kicks. They need an experienced head next to them. Woolf from Ipswich would be a better fit for what we need.

He had a bad game. Happens to every young player. He’s better than what we have

A lot of Ipswich fans would happily have Woolf back in the team it seems. Think we just need to tie it up as this Hughes deal looks like its collapsing.

He said in an interview that wer‘e trying to get the right player for the right deal but if we don’t at least wev’e brought the ground, think he’s covering himself but surely we’d of got somebody in by now,it’s not as if we’re not an attractive club, shouldn’t be too hard ?

I’d be disappointed but also understand why he was sold given we didn’t make a loss on him. Same with Bassette.

Some of the money being asked for players in the championship seems crazy to me probably inflated by Blues and Wrexham.

Think we need to play the long game and make the right signings for us but not be forced into paying over the odds especially without a big sale materialising.

No. Getting money for such a poor CH was a master stroke.

Looks like it was never really on. Hull have been transparent on what they value him at and we have failed to pay it

Tbf often there is a meet in the middle compromise point. I guess there really wasn't for this one. Their owner seems the sort that would dig his heels in.

What happened to bid accepted was that all bollocks? Hughes is the only one we’ve actually heard anything concrete about right?

Suspected but not confirmed that we did bid for Woolfenden who wasn’t in the Ipswich squad today

Think it’s been confirmed we had a bid rejected by Ipswich as well for Woolf and that we put a bid in for Godo.

He new it was his last game for Hull, so he wanted to fuck them up and help us in our quest for the top 2.

We obviously need that CH badly but the cover down either flank was woeful in the second half. No idea why both full backs weren't substituted when we have KKH &Brau on the bench and why Tats came on so late. Not Lampard's finest afternoon

Agree, some teams will always rotate their full backs
