Maybe so, but we want someone versatile to cover who maybe has potential to become a starter

Is he versatile? Brilliant at LW and poor at RW at Wigan

Key thing in Lampard's eyes is probably that he was forced into a formation change last year, but if we get this guy in that will not happen this season.

Didn't we play better with the change though?

Some of Robin's success came from being forced into changes in the squad, style of play and adaptability.

Who wouldn't be underwhelming that would be affordable out of interest?

Remember when we signed that 23 year old bloke who had been kicking about the Brighton reserves and had an entirely underwhelming loan at Swansea…

The player the Swansea fans laughed at us for paying a fee for?

What happened to him?

Don’t remember, I had written him off before he signed tbh and rightly so. If he was good enough at 23, he’d be in the first team immediately. Turned out to be a complete waste of money.

I don't mind the Godo signing, looks decent and gives coverage at LW, young enough to hopefully develop into a really good player.

I'm hoping that link to Boving is true, looks a really good player, and we go back in for Woolfenden

Maybe out of our reach. I might be wrong but don't think that realistically he would come to a Championship Club.

Possibly, but surely Chelsea would opt for him to work under Lampard if he’s going out on loan to our level

Think I saw on X that he’s been linked to a loan to the Bundesliga

7-8 million on Tanganga, 3-4 million on Boving, 50p for Godo and a loan for T. George Lovely Jubbly

Way way too simple for the owner to even consider.

If only it was that easy!

The following is the kind of comment that lives to bite you in the arse, but I think I’d prefer to spend 7 million on Tanganga than 10 million on Hughes.
