Da silva starting LB, bta starting RW, shocking how people can’t see we need better. Recruitment has been woeful

For all his negatives he scored the goal that got us back in it and then worked hard in the build up for Torps goal .
He works incredibly hard for the team too

I don't think he's a winger though

Don’t think he was really playing as one, with how narrow he was at times.

You can see the qualities we bought him for, basically that constant harrying energy, but even by the standards of our team his decision making is poor.

Don't think he was superb either. Had his moments but superb is pushing it.

Yes . He had his moments but still don't think that he's consistent or good enough to be starting

We could do with a winger but it's really not a "desperate" situation for crying out loud.

i Mean we won so can’t moan really but what’s the point of Raphael as back up for saka if he can’t even get a start when saka‘s out ? obviously Lampard still not sure about him

Hes a young kid, perhaps not quite ready just yet to start .. Mind you, Im not sure how giving him literally a few seconds at the end helps him either!

Tactical decision. BTA has his flaws but he’s a unit, very physical. Rapha is a more fragile build and only just coming back… last thing you need is a start against one of the most physical teams in the division

It was the correct decision not to play him today. A physical game like that suits BTA way more

See overall I thought we defended ok. The first was a strike we could do nothing about, the second a pen where Thomas was a tad unlucky and the third was one of those where it’s really difficult to clear your lines and it’s fell kindly to Adams. Apart from that Rushworth didn’t have a save to make
